Call me a liberal sucker if you wish, but I see it like going out to eat on Christmas night. Id feel bad for the servers waiting on my family on Christmas, when they should be home with their families.
Same goes with SP-yeah, sex is always fun, but the SP should be doing what she wants, whether it’s family, friends, or alone w/Netflix.

What if the SP doesn’t have family, friends or just doesn’t celebrate Christmas because of religion

Not all of us have family or even celebrate Christmas. I for one always work on Christmas, best day to work. I find it comforting to work on Christmas.

I no longer celebrate Christmas either. As i got older i also found it a good time to work on that holiday. But back when Hotel de la Montagne was around i’d often try to take a trip to Mtl in December a week or two before Xmas. I’d stay at this great hotel because they had incredible deals during the holiday season (the rate would be the last two digits of your birth year) and the hotel lobby had tons of Xmas decorations plus the live band & many organizations would hold their office parties there. There were also a few merb parties being held there at that time of the year over a dozen years ago when the hotel was still open. But when that hotel closed down & got torn down things were no longer the same so going to Mtl in December became a no-no for me.

And cause its double time lol . Actually triple time in a half
Yeah me too, when I was at Bombardier I found it very comforting ($$$)to work during Christmas holidays! Yeah that’s right, triple time is comforting! Lmao
Indeed for double/triple time and there is less work then on regular work days. But if you got no family or a significant other, the holidays can be really depressing and working is comforting. If you got regulars often they are not available during the holidays either.

Ten years ago i decided to spend New Years in Mtl & the big difference i noticed wasnt the number of girls working but it was the hours of work were shorter than usual. However there were a couple of girls that would work past midnight so i figured they had no friends or family in the area so they preferred staying busy by working. I do remember in the past that some of the more popular agencies closing shop for that day. As for me i lucked out and saw a great girl named Cloe on New Years Eve & we agreed to see one another again two days later. Her agency was closed on the 1st. However even though i did see a great girl on that trip & could have seen other girls had i chosen to i have never felt like going back at that time of the year. People i knew were busy with their families, stores or restaurants were either closed or closed early & everything just felt different. Plus the hotels weren’t busy & to be honest i ended up bored to death.
Yeah I know what you mean. As I mentioned above, I was in Montreal a couple days before NYE. It was chill and actually a break from the holiday family stuff (big extended family including both parents still alive - I’m fortunate in that respect. Many generations gathered for holidays).

James at Euphoria set me up with Sabrina and another girl, and I hit the casino. But I’m wondering if I wouldn’t have been better served by flying to Tampa for one or two nights and then booking an escort back in NYC upon return. Overall Costs would have been fairly close.

Montreal was cold, quiet and maybe too chill.

No that feels kind of sad. I hope I never get to that point.

Christmas and New Years schedule is usually full with family and friends.
Ideally no one would have to spend Christmas or New Years alone. But some people, often introverted people like myself, aren't outspoken enough to be invited, as everyone just assumes everyone else has plans. And feel uncomfortable saying anything to anyone about haveing no where to go. Or feels stressed in large crowds of people and tend to avoid the big events.

Or don't want to travel over an hour away, to spend the day at someone elses place they don't feel comfortable at. Only to have to drive over an hour back home, once they are tired and worn out from the days events.

Others often don't have family in the area, and are reminded of that fact come the holidays as well. Either they moved hear leaving their family behind, or their family has moved away to get away from the stupid language laws and they can't bare to move away from home. For some there's no where else quite like Montreal.

For me, the best part of the holiday is a rendezvous with a beautiful lady, whether SP or MP. There is always someone available. My opinion is that holidays are for most parts for the children.

Ill spend my Christmas with Mrs. Claus, someone has to keep her warm while Santa is out delivering presents to all the children.

Some of the ladies that are working on the holidays do not have family here, so if they don't get an invite to a friends house, what else will they do. Ill have food and drinks out for her, and we can celebrate together for a couple of hours. I have to eat also, so what's the difference if i cook for 2 instead.

Merry Christmas everyone. and bah humbug to the naughty people, speaking of myself of course.

Sincerely,
Scrooge of the year.
