How can we refuse a provider?

It goes with the territory!
(This is the game we have chosen to play!)
You buy your ticket ... you take your chances!
Outdated photos are all part of the game!
Unless it was a blatant bait & switch ... you gotta take the loss and pay her!
The best you can do is write a review so it doesn't happen to somebody else.
Best of luck in the future.

Are clients allowed to review providers they haven't received a service from? And I'm not talking about scammers or a boyfriend waiting to beat you up type of situation..

Shills aside and excluding a jealous boyfriend... I certainly hope not!
How could a client provide a credible review of a provider ...
if he's never seen her?
That's like saying ... a dinner reviewed a restaurant on Yelp ... but he's never eaten there!

hopefully you see where the problem is and how it should not be on the client to reward the agency by paying for the session they wont partake in....
Why should the provider be punished for this? Maybe don't reward the agency and pay the girl, tell them you're refusing to pay because she's not well represented.

But you're saying to write a review if she shows up and you turn her away because she looks different from her photos

No matter what agency of indy you should pay for the session. She blocked some of her time for you. I try to change my photos often.. still, there's always going to be someone who thinks the provider doesn't look exactly like their photos, even if they're super realistic. Really often photos are edited and posed in a certain way, some people's weight fluctuate a lot. I look very different depending on the time of the month because I have a small frame. It's not the provider's fault if she looks slightly different from her photos that specific day, or if the agency chose to post those photos of her.

In a situation like this I recommend paying for the session and leaving or asking the provider to leave and inventing an excuse. That never happened to me except once.. one of my very first clients as an indy acted disgusted when he saw me in person, just because I didn't have time to put on makeup. He should have just left and given me money, but he decided to act really rude, try to coerce me into bbfs and when I said no made me suck his dick for a whole hour and then posted a bad review. (which was deleted since).. it was really traumatic
It did happen me to a few time the agency pics were outdated. Now I understand after sweet sweet Luna explained the girls were not in controlled or how they are advertised.

My darling Luna you look fantastic everytime I see you.

Haha thanks for the compliment! Just making sure I remind ppl that I've never worked for an agency, that's not exactly what I said :)
I was talking about professional photoshoots in general

I have seen girls who worked for agencies who really looked like their photos .. but all professional shoots are edited and some photographers alter way more than others. I used to assist a fashion photographer for a few years so I know how it's done..

I also know how people perceive these edited photos compared to the real person. I had a colleague who was called fat compared to her photos but these were recent pictures and were not that edited... It's just that angles etc were flattering.

In my opinion this subject is tricky because it's subjective tbh. I've been accused of posting extremely dated photos when I started in the industry but they were new and not even edited or filtered, I just looked tired that day

Whenever a monger has a disappointing experience ... he has to ask himself just how much was he responsible for what transpired!
(I'm of the mongering philosophy ... that whatever happens in the hobby (good or bad) ..it's on you!)
How much of a hand did he have in what happened?
Did he do everything he could ... to tip the scales in his favor?
i.e.
Did he employ mongering street smarts ...and effectively connect the dots on a provider before making the appointment?
i.e.
Did he assiduously read her reviews?
How recent were the reviews
(Surely some of her reviews had to mention her dated photos!)
Did he peruse her website and photo spread?
(True professionals @ the top of their game have a well-thought-out website..... agency providers ... not so much!)
By being a savvy, street-smart monger you can greatly increase your probability of success ... and greatly lessen the probability of disappointment!

The OP did say she was late disinterested and distracted
That kind of belongs in a review to warn others not to book that particular lady I would think.
Losing money for nothing ( assuming he paid her ) also warrants a review.
Most of us actually work for the money we pay escorts just like escorts presumably need to work for it and provide a service.
I wouldn’t cause a huge scene over money but that doesn’t mean I enjoy giving it away for nothing nor does it mean I shouldn’t be warning others not to fall into the same trap.

The girl is misrepresented. The client doesnt get what he signs up for, the client shouldnt have to pay.

Its not very complicated. Why should the client be taken advantage of ? Why should the provider get compensated by the client for being misrepresented by the agency. I think you understand that in this case it is the agency at fault.

To be clear we're talking hypothetically in the case where the client does not take the services of the provider because she is misrepresented. Obviously if he takes the services he should pay her.

This happened to me only once in Montreal, a new girl at Nadya’s back in the day. I tipped her a $100 and called it a night. I went based on the booker’s description.

Sometime the description is misleading. I rolled the dice and came up short. I felt bad for HER, so I met close to the middle. I checked the schedule periodically after and she vanished.

A monger's gotta use street smarts!
He's gotta do his homework!
He can't be pointing the finger at somebody else!
He's gotta know how to connect the dots!
He's gotta take full responsible on whom he decided to pull the trigger on!

I'm deleting my account for the final time as it doesn't serve a purpose for me anymore but your posts across the lounge are alarming to say the least. In this case you believe clients should pay regardless of catfish situations because of periods that magically add 20 pounds to your frame and agency scams? No sweety. You try to cloud the conversion with the mention that clients will state it's not representative even though it's "super realistic"; this thread isn't conversing on that. You finish this off by bringing up BBFS and implying you were raped? This thread is about refusing providers who are obviously scamming and catfiishing. At this point get some help and the mods and basement dwelling members who support you blindly should discuss with you in private.

The provider's side bias is real. Catfishing is way too common in this industry and the only reason for that is that clients let it happen. Or "they pay the provider " regardless, ensuring the clients get screwed, while the agency and provider benefit from malpractice.

I had a very bad session today. I knew from the start it was not going to be good. She was late, distracted, disinterested etc.. I was concerned with getting “blacklisted” by the agency. Is there a proper procedure? Etiquette? Thanks
Around 12 years ago, while staying at the Hotel W, a buddy of mine booked a date with an escort from one of the agencies that was specifically warned against in the Bait an Switch thread. After he booked the date, he showed me on his phone a link to the pics of the girl he booked. I told him it was a bait and switch outfit. He decided not to listen to me.

The girl who came to his hotel was not the one in the pics, not the same hair color or build or ethnicity, was distracted and disinterested, and worst of all had a jelly roll around her abdomen. My friend realized it was not going to work inside 5 minutes, and offered the girl $40 to leave. She told him that he would have to talk to her "driver" (translation: her "muscle.") The muscle got on the phone and threatened my buddy and demanded the full amount of the booking or he was going to come and get the money. My friend is not the kind of guy you threaten, and he said to the muscle, "fuck you, I would like to see you even try to get through Hotel W security to make good on that threat." After some heated trash-talking I think they settled for like $100.

The point of the post is that if you book with a shady agency that has muscle, and you don't have Hotel W Security to back up your trash-talk and are instead at home, refusal could mean that you could get a visit from some of Ving's boys:

Happened to me once. This was in 2008 with Michelle of MSC. Her pics looked great nice and sweet girl but not my type. Gave her $20 and let her go.
