I think there is a whole lot of trying to be nice here with me being no exception.
Hungry kind of spelled it out in plain English without pulling any punches, perhaps not the words I would have used.
First the majority of society have not met any or used the services of a SW and don’t realize that there are just as many amazing and wonderful women amongst them as in civilian life, and yes you have ones that you wouldn’t want to be near just as with any other part of the population.
Most of society have a conception of what they read in the newspapers, internet and the over biased media and movies.
This negative expect is constantly fuelled.
As long as society looks at this profession in this negative light and people still refer to them in negative terms such as whore, hooker, prostitute, or in Europe as Puta Kurva etc... no I would not want any child of mine to enter this profession.
Couple that with the obvious dangers and hardships forced upon them by governments, police departments and the fact that every time they open the door to a new client or even someone they have been with before , they are completely alone and at the mercy of that person.
I doubt that most SP would want their children to follow in their footsteps.

I think the vast majority of parents do not know their daughters are engaged in this occupation, and they really do not have a say in this
