It's not a bad hotel. I've stayed there in the past (prior to my years as a 'john') and it's comfortable. It is sp friendly since i know a few hobbyists who've stayed there and liked it (for the price).

I bit the bullet and overspent on the Omni $105

opt for Quality Suites, more spacious, not much more expensive.

If you're referring to the one on Crescent street, i've stayed there many, many years ago....never again! It's a dump!

Very true. Hard to get good deals on both Hotwire & Priceline. Possibly due to the high Canadian dollar as compared to the US dollar. I honestly don't remember the last time the Canadian dollar has been so high!
