Welcome to Merb!I really don't know much about rates increases and inflation over the years in this escorting world, but...
As a man who got into the game just some weeks ago, I find the rates to be quite reasonable in most cases. Reasonable enough to even bring drinks & sweets and leave a tip as well. And no, I'm not a millionnaire at all, although I certainly wish to be, lol.
Either I choose SPs from the usual agencies around here or I stay within my budget when it comes to independent SPs, and only once reached to a "high-end" one, and now it's on cooldown for a while.
I usually book an hour or 90 minutes, and I rarely bother with extras as the full service offered is satisfying enough for me. And considering all what's offered (if offered with care, of course), I believe the rates are more than reasonable given the good work these women do.
Personally, I've found rates to have remained the same since I started 3 years ago. I started in Toronto, where the rates are pretty high. Montreal's rates have slowly been catching up with Toronto.
The popularity of OnlyFans might be a reason for increasing rates besides inflation. The OF opportunity can be far more lucrative and safer than escorting.
Only ever tried hobbying in the US once. Terrible experience both in terms of price and service. Having the threat of law enforcement in the back of your mind was pretty bad too. Neither you or the girl are safe.
Canada is a pretty good middle ground, overall.
I've visited providers in Europe too. I'd say Europe has the best market in terms of price, quality, and safety.

I don`t think they will "skyrocket", but I`ve been thinking for a while that agency rates are probably too low for the market. Yes folks, too low. Don't send tomatoes my way please. When demand (for services), exceeds supply (of labour), prices should raise. This seems to be the situation we`ve been in for a while, regarding agencies.
Agencies are able to offer prices that low because it is high volume the minute they raise prices to Indy levels they quickly will loose their appeal.
This new generation of girls do not seem to want to escort. Seems to be the prevailing mentality of that generation, they got this stigma of being an escort. I heard often they say I do not want to sell my body like a prostitute. Must be the constant exposure from the media by feminists at how bad it is to sell sex and that men are evil. I do not think any price will convince these young girls to work as escorts.
As you know, there is a large gap between indy level and agency rates. I`m talking about a small increase here. It`s not sustainable to have a market where demand exceeds supply.
Tbh Im pleasantly surprised to see how accepted it is. In Mtl it seems to be way more socially accepted...many young, very attractive girls are face out posting themselves at local restaurants and concerts.

I dunno. 10 years ago it was so easy to find strippers for take out, now it is very hard. I got this speech from these young girls, I do not want to sell my body like a prostitute. until recently i always thought this was the default POV for any girl and and that the only ones who would do this had major personal problems...stumbling across the scene here and this board changed my view completely
The thing is I never heard this line before. This is now with this new generation of girls I heard it. Definitely a generational shift.
