hey wasisname
we are not beggers.,
yes,we are doing a job. we have to pay for the gas.
it would cost you more if you go and get it yourself.
just thinking when it is snowing and cold outside, you have someone bringing you your food,so you don't have to get off your big fat ass.
you should try being a delivery person and have to deal with people like you and the traffric.
then we will see what you will say

If you don't get paid enough for gas then talk to your boss or get another job. It is real simple.
I find it funny you blather on about how much it would cost to get it myself or to get off my fat ass, when I clearly stated in the first line of my post that I
"I'd rather pick it up than have some begger at my door looking for a handout." I'd rather pay the extra gas, and the time to actually go there and wait rather then have some guy at my door expecting a hand out to do his job. If I wanted that, I'd move to Latin America, Africa, or the Middle East.
I've worked outside jobs getting my hands covered in greasy filth while freezing or melting and getting soaked for the same 4.25 an hour that the waiters and waitresses in my province got, except I didn't get effectively tax free tips. So don't feed me a line about conditions.
However unlike you, I didn't whine, I got a self serve gas station job where I got paid to sit on my fat ass.
Oh, and
I've done delivery, and unlike the vast majority of people who are too self centered to see beyond their narrow self interest [voting records anyone] even when I took the sheeples money, I still thought they were being foolish to do it. I had more respect for those who did not bribe me. Those who like that creepy dutch guy says, "saved their money"
There, I took every one of your points and made it my own personal small female dog. No doubt I wasted my time. I don't even know why I bother replying sometimes.
