I have a big problem, someone is using my name to book apointments at massage parlors, and at escort agencies. I found out because a few cases the owners / operators have told me yes, I understand you are coming in on thursday, or telling me I booked someone last week etc.
I think this person may have been someone that I pm'd as he seems to know my first name.
I don't book under my name of spartacus, I book under my first name.but because of my review history, some of the agencies/ parlors I use know my handle as well as my name.
this pretender seems to know my name, and is booking under spartacus/ xxxxx.
(maybe not pm's but when he booked under spartacus the booker said xxxx how ware you, and he said good, (and then knew my name) )

it seems he is doing this with a few agencies.
I am very concerned about my sterling reputation being sullied by some phoney.

please to all agencies, and anyone out there.
please do not be fooled by imposters and charlatans.
there is only one spartacus.
I am spartacus!.

so in order to discourage this impostor, from now on I will be booking with my second name.
please if you take an apointment from me, ( or you think it is me) please can you double check with me here by pm. and I will send you my name so you can be sure it is me.

Impostors

I have had a similar problem in the past. This is really a problem if you are a high profile poster. What I would suggest to you is to find out the physical description of the impostor who has shown up for dates using your name. Then inform the agencies of what you look like (generally - I am sure the girls will tell the agency owner anyway) and that this impostor is not you. Once you learn the impostor's description please PM me.

Is this impostor an English speaking guy?

frankly it is not really possible if you do alot of posting, and detailed reviews to keep your handle secret even if you wait for a while.
and up till now this has not been a problme for me at all.
( I have been posting here for a while)

some agencies that I use on a regular basis, know who I am.
this is how I found out!
my problem is not me booking under spartacus ( which I dont do) but someone else booking under that name.

what is happening is someone is calling up saying he is spartacus and getting special treatment etc. but it is not me.

I know someone who had the same problem as you did, a few years ago. Sometimes, he felt helpless, since people getting contacted by the impostor weren't very savvy when dealing with the internet or thinking this kind of stuff could actually happen. This 'loser' would even write emails to agencies/ladies pretending he was this other well-known and respected hobbyist, using an email address quite similar to the legitimate one and even managing to get replies to his own email address without the agencies/ladies noticing they were dealing with a different person.

He found out about this when he actually saw one of the emails that he had 'supposedly' written. When later shown how easy this kind of stuff could be done, he realized that with the internet, everything is possible and it's not that difficult to screw someone if you really put effort into it.

Look on the bright side: you found out right away that this was being done to you. You didn't find out when it was too late to do anything about it. Also understand that there are losers in this hobby with absolutely nothing better to do. I hope, for you, that he hasn' t tarnished your impeccable reputation with the ladies/agencies.

it is indeed a bad scene.
I am glad I caught it so far.
i will post on this in the lounge here and in other boards to try and make sure that providers are aware of this and of certain changes.
