We have partial immunity, until we do what's criminal in the new law. But we can sell our own services, gain and keep the money from our own sexual services, but we can't sollicitate, for instance. And sexworkers too
Exactly…. and web sites, adds on different platforms, it’s a form of solicitation.. especially when there are photos, videos, but, your right, as long as you don’t sollicitate, you are ok. But so far, courts haven’t ruled on this exact matter anyway… but with the new case in Sherbrooke .. will seeWe have partial immunity, until we do what's criminal in the new law. LolIts beyond me that the state has any power over what we choose to do with our own bodies. It's seriously time that prostitution be de-criminalized and regulated.
I'm surprised I havent found a thread on merb about mobilizing people / lobbying so we can get this done one day - and no I am not volunteering to manage that![]()

If you look at history of decriminalization in countries like the Netherlands and New Zealand they did not rely on large scale protests.A lot of people are doing that behind their partner’s back. It would be kind of awkward to go to a public protest
In agencies? Kinda yes. Its limited to a couple lines. I don't understand your point...« his Sarah available at x hour » …. Really ??? I doubt very much that you can have a date with a sex worker with just one phrase…

There is so many posts here about how long it takes to have a date meaning, tons of text exchanges that sometimes are going nowhere…In agencies? Kinda yes. Its limited to a couple lines. I don't understand your point...

But still, you can imagine in these e-mails or text exchanges, that there is lot of words mounting to « sollicitations »
And no, I don’t believe that you can EVER have a date with a sexworker with only the lines you are proposing.
That is my point
Depends on the kind of burner it is. If it's a texting app, it's not safe at all. Apps like TextMe keep a record of all your texts even if you delete them.I use a burner so not particularly concerned at any rate, but the vast majority of my bookings are literally: Hi, I'd like a 1 hour meeting with <SP> at 8pm on Friday please, is she available.
Works fine.
Lol people on this forum love being condescending. Pro tip, when you start with "this sentence makes no sense", you should probably make sure what you follow up with is accurateThis sentence makes no sense, it's like saying you want to boil pasta in dry water. Haha
Decriminalization implies no regulation. What you have in mind is legalization which is still problematic in many ways for both the workers and the clients.
Under decriminalization there are no regulations, but things that are already illegal (like being with minors, trafficking another person, or not informing a partner of your HIV status if you have it) still remain illegal.
Decriminalization is the ideal solution
Well,Police are choosing not to enforce the laws. However, this could certainly change if priorities change.

I can't speak for anyone other than me, but in MY case its rarely complicated to set a meeting with an agency like Euphoria or Forever. They known me for years (in Forever's case the owner was at Xo before). So when schedule is post, i look at it and ask for a meeting at an hour that seem open. If said hour is taken i will usually take the one they suggest unless i really can't due to scheduling issues. But my point is the bookings often look like "Good evening, i would like to book "insert profider's name" at 2pm wednesday, incall 1h, is that possible" and i wait for the answer. Answer will either be a yes or they will ask me if another time slot is ok. But it does not usually take time or go explicit etc. There is so many posts here about how long it takes to have a date meaning, tons of text exchanges that sometimes are going nowhere…
