You guys are hilarious, I'm new to this board but I'm really entertained by the conversations here. It's like, the entire reason why this board exists acts like a filter that allows for many conversations that most other people would just shake their fist at.

If I were married and wife was cool with it, and we're both communicating and totally aware of what is happening, I would be okay with it. I just think that absolute possessiveness of a woman who is your wife or SO, in the face of something that would benefit your family and that she is willing to do, is more a sign of insecurity or personal issues than anything else. It also basically comes down to how one views love and marriage, doesn't it?

It is a proletarian ambition to become rich because if you're born in wealth you tend not to notice it. For 1 million I do not see what the issue is as long as both parties agree. Now if the wife was a virgin when you met and no other sex partner for either of you ( very doubtful in todays society ) it could be a different matter. For 1 mil I know my ex and myself would have taken the money. Just like the eskimos say "I will lend you my wife before my knife because I know she will come back the same and not broken ".

So after my companion left I caught the last period of the hockey game. Tired and relaxed from my encounter I fell asleep and awakened to the late night movie playing on tv. Normally I would just turn it off and go to bed but the movie had Woody Harrelson and a young, tight bodied, and sultry looking Demi Moore! Well, I have not had a wife for the past 14 years. But when I did we made regular (3-4 times/year) visits to a swingers club in an adjacent state. As I see it, the only difference between those night and your scenerio is a million dollars.
