lol being on BP AND without my actual twitter account...I would find stupid edia to provide...something like

btw, I've noticed a few profiles on BP that are including LinkedIn social profiles.
Just a warning to make sure you're not using a personal web profile when searching. Depending on your settings, you might be leaking personal information to them.
If you're using a profile that isn't logged into linkedin = ok. Else you might want to double-check your privacy settings in linkedin.

why in the world is bp requiring a social media address?? that is the stupidest thing i have ever heard....
This and a real cellphone number. It's recent. They increased the price for an ad by 2$ more, then put a smaller character limit, then forced us to provide a cellphone number and a social media link... I'm pissed and I'm sure everyone is and I had to buy a 2nd Phone (they will not take app numbers) and create a fake FB account (when I dont even have a real one)... Annoying.

Even when you pay you stay on the first page less than an hour actually. Way too many girls lol. Free ad means you're not even in the gallery, your ad gets next to no attention... It's at the bottom of the page lost with so many more

i thought it was like kijiji. when you place your ad, it is at the top of the page, then it slowly drops down throughout the day as others posts there's. I thought you could place as many free ads as you want. So you just repost every few hours a free ad
Most Ads mention a fake Instagram/FB/Twitter account. I think I've seen some that goes to the FB Login page only...

I will say some stuff that will be unpopular to most SPs. I am sorry and its not directed at you... :/
1) Twitter/Facebook links. I find this rules somewhat bad but good at the same time. I mean having a real twitter account (as in really the SP with her SP name etc) can prove its really her if managed properly. Twitter is very friendly to both porn and SPs. On the other hand FB is really not so i would avoid that one. I know it can be a hassle to create one and most SPs will create fake ones but real ones do help a lot to us.
2) Real numbers. You guys do not like clients to use fake numbers, well we would prefer as well you do the same. I know i know... its more risky for you, and maybe this is a false sense of security but i kinda "like" this change altough its not a nessessary one.
3) Pricing. Its really sad it cost that much for the real SPs. 3$ an add should be enough. But i think BP is trying to remove fake ads while at the same time thinking "if they keep paying that much, good for us and there dumb" (speaking of fake ads peoples) So far the effect seem to be showing even if not complete. Yes there is tons of BP fake ads still but there seem to be less than there was. I make it a routine to look at BP every morning as i wake up (unless i really have to go up in a hurry) as part of my morning "wake up and check my phone while laying in bed" and i seem to scroll much less pages than before. If you find me weird to look at BP everyday its just i like hanging out in my bed, and therefore i have time to do so , so why not. I kinda hope to see pop some old favourites who are retired of whatever. You never know lol. Also when i see fake ads using real indy SPs, i let them know
Fake asian ads seem to be the hardest ones... I dunno why really. It mind bug me to think there is really peoples that think those are reals....

I think BP has a better return especially because the fact ads have to be paid for make it that less fake ads are being post. The other free classified ads website are terrible... i browse them a few times and really they do look like the bottom of the barrel of the business. No offense to legit ladies advertising there, but so much fake or bad ads... damn.
Obviously MERB remain the true best place. I know its expensive (i paid ads myself for somebody) but the higher price and enforced rules make sure its a true SP... It gives me a piece of mind.

About the Phone number HM... Its not the one in the ad. Its a Phone number that no one can see, used only by BP to confirm our ad. The one in the ad can be whatever number lol

Ah ok Julia, didn't know that. Well thats still a big help in filtering fake ads to me... At least they can't create 10 000 text ads to confirm there thing no?
Lily, maybe you are right, but the ones that do have real ones will shine out. Also if it drive out the good SPs out of backpage and bring them to merb and more reputable places, then its a win/win no?

you mean I didn't have to use my real name when I registered for MERB ? BTW, my Mom named me Doggyluver I still would like to know why I cannot see BP adds outside of the USA? I used to occasionally read the BP adds in Montreal from time to time but whenever I google BP Montreal it redirects me to BP USA. Other than subscribing to a VPN, what can I do?
