You confuse feminists with radical feminists. Big difference! And yes radical feminism is associated with the far-left. Radical feminists want to dominate and castrate all men. They also view sex work as exploitation of women by men. The Nordic model is from Sweden the most feminist country and the model is spreading everywhere. Canada is also following the feminist Nordic model. In Spain the Socialist prime minister wants to ban prostitution and it plans to use the Nordic model (from the left).

Yours is a typical, delusional belief about the position of feminists and the left on prostitution. Opposition to prostitution comes equally from the right and the left.

There are no prominent feminist organizations that clearly support the decriminalization of prostitution for both sex workers and clients. Some feminist organizations hide behind the position of support for the "Nordic Model" i.e. decriminalizing sex work for the provider but not the client. Such a position is hypocritical because it's like saying that it is perfectly legal to work as a barber but not legal for anyone to get a haircut. Such a situation would not exactly improve the lives of barbers any more than it helps sex workers.

Trumpism is a term used by the far-left. I do not read or follow Trumpism. I read and follow Libertarianism. Both the left and right are against prostitution. FOSTA and SESTA was passed by both Democrats and Republicans, only two senators opposed it. And you know in the US prostitution laws are managed by the states, all states (Democrat and Republican states) but one has illegal prostitution. Only the Libertarians are for abolishing all victimless crimes like abortion, prostitution, to end the war on drugs, to have the right to bear arms, etc.. Lets put it this way, I am against Authoritarianism. I do not follow left or right, both are part of the same problem and I completely agree with yout last sentence.

Interesting statement. Give me one example of when prohibition actually worked? Look at prohibition era in the 1920s. All failure. For drugs, it is the choice of the individual to take them. No one stuck a gun to them and forced them to take it. For trafficking, prohibition will not stop it. Got to tackle the real socio-economic issue here. Generally trafficking is driven by poverty and is more of a problem in third world countries vs occidental countries. Abortions: Liberals promoting it. With all the forms of birth control available abortion should be a last resort option.

The real question should have been, too young for what? Voting, buying a car, going to war, making suicide, running a country, taking care of 10 children, etc.
Most interpreted it as working as an escort or similar activity. Of course they can legally do it in most countries.
If the question is would I date an 18 years old girl, the answer is I did that when I was also 18. But at my age, 50++, its out of question. I'm not interested going on with an unmature human being, almost a child. There is a big difference between 18 and 25 for women. For guys, often it takes 5 more years to achieve the same maturity.
So, for me, at my age, my preferences are at least 25, the best being 30-45.
As a parent, if my daughter of 18 would like to strip or escort, I would have a hard time accepting it but I would not cut the communication. If she would be 25 or over, it would be a different story. And stop thinking 18 years old do this kind of job to pay the University.
Of course, for those guys being under 30, it's normal if they wish a young girl but for real men???

Men's and women's ideas of the perfect mate differ significantly due to evolutionary pressures, according to a cross-cultural study on multiple mate preferences by psychologists at The University of Texas at Austin.

The study of 4,764 men and 5,389 women in 33 countries and 37 cultures showed that sex differences in mate preferences are much larger than previously appreciated and stable across cultures.
"Many want to believe that women and men are identical in their underlying psychology, but the genders differ strikingly in their evolved mate preferences in some domains," said co-author of the study and psychology professor David Buss. "The same holds true in highly sexually egalitarian cultures such as Sweden and Norway as in less egalitarian cultures such as Iran."

Mating is multidimensional and requires matching a pattern of mate preferences to a pattern of potential mate features. The researchers suggest that these patterns of mate preferences are far more linked to gender than any individual mate preference examined separately would suggest.

Researchers found that they could predict a person's sex with 92.2 percent accuracy if they knew his or her mate preferences.

"The large overall difference between men's and women's mate preferences tells us that the sexes must have experienced dramatically different challenges in the mating domain throughout human evolution," said lead author and graduate researcher Daniel Conroy-Beam.

According to the study, men favor mates who are younger and physically attractive. Women seek older mates with good financial prospects, higher status and ambition.
"Because women bear the cost of pregnancy and lactation, they often faced the adaptive problem of acquiring resources to produce and support offspring, while men faced adaptive problems of identifying fertile partners and sought cues to fertility and future reproductive value," Conroy-Beam said.

Of the 19 mate preferences that researchers considered, five varied significantly based on gender: good financial prospects, physical attractiveness, chastity, ambition and age. Four other preferences -- pleasing disposition, sociability and shared religious and political views -- were not sex-differentiated.

"Few decisions impact reproduction more than mate choice," Conroy-Beam said. "Mate preferences will therefore be a central target and driver of biological evolution. We have found some promising initial results, and we think this holistic approach will help answer a lot of questions in mating research in the future."
