I mean, the agency owner basically got money stolen from him for this incident, or the girl did, and everyone was like "nah, 's cool." Other places, goons would have been called, beatings would have been administered, or at the very least serious threats! Maybe this was a business cost for sustaining a whale, but man, y'all are so nice!
Well it's true goons were not called in, but the agency owner was irate with me for the conduct of one of the guests at a party I had organized with the agency. He was very angry and he used a tone of voice with me he never had before or after, and he threatened to call the cops, as the agency girl did not call in a full hour after the party had ended and neither one of us could account for her whereabouts or safety. So it was a very stressful situation for him, and for me, and I was just happy we resolved it and didn't have to explain to Montreal police when and where I last saw her. I was so angry the next day I can't even describe it. I was livid with Mr. Blue Balls. We did invite him to subsequent parties involving the same agency, and he later did apologize, albeit in a halfhearted manner as he insisted the escort was to blame.
But while the top agencies like the one I mentioned do not unleash goons or threaten beatings, I will tell you another story about a friend who did have that happen. It was actually involving the friend with whom I co planned the above mentioned party.
That weekend all of us were staying at the Hotel W under a group rate we got from my friend's company which has an expense account with the Hotel. Other times I met those guys at the hotel for parties we had there. But on this particular trip I stayed there with the other guys, 4 of us in all. One advantage to Hotel W is if you are a guest they have the best security I have seen in Montreal and have a rep for not allowing any nonsense within the hotel. Indeed they were even quick to intervene along with a friend one time when I had an altercation with a coat room clerk there who would not return to me my expensive full length leather jacket after I lost my claim ticket for the jacket.
Anyway, that weekend a friend of mine showed me a link to an apparently Indy escort and there was something very fishy about the link. I didn't recognize it and told my friend it looked like B&S. He called anyway against my advice. Wasn't an Indy at all was a bait and switch agency. The girl showed up 2 hours late and wasn't the one in the pics. My buddy said as soon as she took off her clothes he saw stretch marks, needle marks, and jelly rolls. He immediately rejected her. She rejected the rejection, and told him she couldn't leave until he settled up with the agency. So he called the agency and they told him it would be $100. He said "no fucking way, you bait and switched me and sent me a different girl." They then said that she was a great girl and the other one was tied up or some BS but he had to pay a fee for the girl and driver and would be $100. My buddy again said no and the agency rep said they were sending up the "driver" to "resolve the issue." My buddy immediately recognized the threat and responded, appropriately, "tell your "driver" good luck getting past Hotel W security to my room." They then negotiated - and my friend sent the girl on her way with $40. Hotel W Security never had to intervene.
So there are agencies that will sick goons on you. See the Bait and Switch sticky thread. That's why you stick to the top agencies and will never have a problem. But to think ALL agencies in Montreal are hoodlum free is naive and inaccurate.
