However he put himself in this position by withdrawing from the JCPOA in 2018.
Possibly, but the JCPOA being revived and sanctions being eased is (ironically) a possible endgame resolution to the current conflict. I do not believe Trump is interested in any kind of protracted conflict with Iran, and he is permitted to change his mind on this issue.

You mean like a puppet state for the British and Americans when the Shah was willingly giving his country’s ressources and robbing its population?
I was not born in 79 and i can't pretend i have all the infos. But what i do know is that women were not oppressed and could dress as they wanted. I saw the "exhiled ruler" or whatever its call speak on the news and i suppose it was his father that was ruling at the time (cause he looked in his 60s, wich would had made him pretty young in 79...but im not sure, anyway), that guy seem like a normal person. Rational, didn't seem like an islamist extremist at all. I would prefer him to be at the helm of the country any day.

It is very clear to any reasonable person that Iran always has been aiming at attending status of the nuclear armed nation. All these negotiations were just a smock screen. It has satisfied several former presidents unwilling to take unpopular military measures and they pushed the problem to the future. This policy has reached its limit now as Iran was on the verge of having enough fission material for several warheads and the ability to produce many more simultaneously mastering advanced rocket technology. Thus, the matter became very urgent. Notwithstanding the other Tramps’ s policy decisions, he was up to the challenge on this call.

That's not clear at all except perhaps to the war hawks. The JCPOA was a multi nation verifiable agreement to restrict Iran's nuclear program not a "negotiation". The agreement was not perfect but it was working until trump unilaterally blew it up. Now the world is less safe because of the hubris of one narcissistic idiot.

I remember the Shah’s years pretty well, beside being a puppet for the western countries, he was as brutal and cruel with his people than the ayatollahs.

When the Shah fell all of the educated and professional people left Iran in droves, because of fear of Ayatollah Khomeini, the reigning nutjob Ayatollah at that time. One of my classmates in college in the years after was an Iranian engineering student whose family had fled after the Shah of Iran lost power. The Shah died shortly after he lost power, in Egypt.

This below is the first proof bring up by the isrealites , around 1000 years BCE, that the persians were mass producing enriched uranium to build nuclear bombs:

Unfortunately, the governments of all Muslim countries tend to treat any internal dissent with cruelty and brutality towards their own people. They also seem to have a problem getting along peacefully with their neighboring countries, even with those that are also Muslim (for example, Iraq vs. Iran, Iran vs. Israel, Saudi Arabia vs. Yemen, Azerbaijan vs. Armenia, Pakistan vs. India, Turkey vs. Greece, Kosovo vs. Serbia).

The problem, as represented by Iran, is that Islam has no concept of the separation of religion and the state. They are one and the same in Islam. So Muslim countries are somewhat comparable in their political development to Western European countries during the first part of the 1600s, when Protestant states fought Catholic kingdoms resulting in the deaths of millions. (see the Thirty Years' War).

So, while I support Israel's war against Iran (and the U.S. help) I don't think regime change in Iran would do much to improve Iran's behavior. Islam has too firm a grip on most of the population. All that we can hope for is to contain their fanatical, theocratic government and stop them from getting nuclear weapons. So far, that has been accomplished.

Like Trump with his own people participating in legal démonstrations across the country? Shamelessly depriving them of their basic fondamental rights? Rights that are actualy clearly enshrined in the constitution!

With everything going on with Trump, & America, I'm becoming really afraid of Americans...
Heck, even one of my favorite singers wrote a song about it. Lol
