Though my opinion of Biden has always been low, I thought that since he was just one of a hundred senators there was only so much he could do to harm the country. However, now that he has occupied the office of president for seven months, he has done more to harm the country than he did in decades of pontificating, plagiarizing and prevaricating as a professional politician.

The disaster that has unfolded in Afghanistan over the course of today and the last couple weeks just underlines what an extreme failure Biden is as president and politician. I cringe every time he goes on camera and struggles to read words written by others that scroll across a teleprompter. At this moment he still hasn't addressed the country about today's attack. Americans want an answer to the question: "What's the plan?" But as should be clear from the sad events of today and the last couple weeks, there is no plan.

Last week the New York Times reported that the drone strike killing in Kabul that Biden's administration claimed was a "righteous strike" against Isis-K terrorists, actually killed 7 children and 3 aid workers. The intended target who was thought to be carrying explosives, was actually delivering jugs of water to needy people. It took one week for the Biden administration to acknowledge the veracity of the Times report of the murders, and they waited until a Friday afternoon when Biden had already left for his weekend home. Biden hates facing reporters because he only likes to talk about "happy things". So he is a coward and a murderer.

Of all the lies that were peddled about Biden, the worse were that he is a "nice guy". He is a moral man. He is kind and caring. He has great empathy for people. He is the counselor -in-chief. He can unify the country. What BS. He couldn't even own up to all his mistakes that cost lives in Kabul over the past month And it's more than that. Look at the Southern border. The illegal migrations are set to top 2 million this year. There are 14 thousand migrants crammed under a bridge in Del Rio Texas this weekend. What are you going to do about it Joe? Well he is going to build a wall around the capitol in Washington and call out the National Guard to protect the city against 500 protestors because Biden has declared that “white supremacists” are the “most lethal terrorist threat” to the country. So people who are actually suffering down at the Southern border are ignored.

This follows other mystifying Biden decisions to close the Northern border to vaccinated Canadians coming into the U.S. but allow the Southern border to be open to unvaccinated migrants from anywhere. He criticizes the Texas and Florida governors for the handling of vaccinations, but then ships thousands of unvaccinated migrants into Florida. Isn't he concerned about super spreader events this might cause?

Of all the horrible and disgusting things Biden has done in the last month, he couldn't even be presidential for a few minutes and take the time to honor the 13 soldiers who died because of his blunders in Afghanistan. During the transfer of bodies, he couldn't stop looking at his damn watch. Hey Joe, no need to keep looking at your watch. I can tell you what it says. Your time is up Joe. You've gotta go!

There is an abundance of assholes on both sides that we can agree on and Bidet is a shit President.
For a country that can only come up with such winners as Hillary, Trump, Bidet, and the old commie as prime candidates there is not much to say, that probably explains why they are still only 55% vaccinated, another great achievement and broken promise by Bidet even though he was handed an abundance of 3 approved and highly effective vaccines on a silver platter. If I remember correctly there was only one person that died in that treasonous act which you keep harping on which was falsely reported that he was hit with a fire extinguisher, Bidet however was directly responsible just recently in killing 10 innocent people in Afghanistan women and children or do those lives not matter because they are not Americans.

I absolutely think Biden could have handled the withdrawal better. But make no mistake: the withdrawal would have happened in similar fashion if Trump was still in office--because this Afghanistan withdrawal was negotiated by Trump in Doha.

I agree that American trust is important. Were you saying the same thing when Trump turned his back on the Syrians?

Memories are short, which is why we're dragging Biden now even though the person that started the war, Bush, never had any clear objectives on what winning the Afghan war would entail. In the fervor of 9/11, only one Congresswoman presciently opposed this particular war. Part of what Biden is currently reaping is actually following through with the withdrawal. He deserves some credit for that even if the execution left a LOT to be desired. But none of that should excuse him lying about not being told to leave a few thousand troops behind.

Edit: More things to consider. One of the guys who contradicted Biden (Milley) also said on Tuesday that there was near certainty of resumed Taliban fighting if the US stayed past the August deadline. Furthermore, it would require additional troops (up to 25,000 more) to stabilize the area. What this explains is the haste of the exit. It doesn't explain Biden saying he wasn't told of leaving 2500 troops.
