i have said this before, while agencies have dwindled, massage parlours have flourished. would argue there are 3X more girls in parlours than in agencies. That being said, the average age of the girls I have seen in the MPs is a lot closer to 30 something rather than 20 something

I'm coming to Montreal in May, and am curious about the rates for agencies like VOG. There's a rate on their website that says $250 to $270 per hour. As per other people's mentions, it looks as if they're an agency that does mainly outcalls. Is it $250-$270 as a flat rate, or is that just for the time. Are we talking also having pricing for the uber or taxi ride over? I'm just curious to get a low down on it, and what reputable agencies in Montreal are doing incall
Thank you

Luck of talent?
I always thought that this is the complain about the luck of talent in already practicing SPs. But people discuss only novelty and quantity. Just use other words for those. Confusing.

Rates include their transportation costs as well
These rates apply only if you stay in the city, if you are staying outside downtown, there is a travel fee of 20-40$ added on to the regular hourly fee, depending on your location.

And rates that go up constantly! When I started, it was 140. To think, the quality of Eleganza for only 140! What a bargain
came accross this post by chance...don't want to nitpick, $140 for Eleganza was a good price compared to today? Eleganza was 20 years ago lol. Today's top agencies are $280-$300, sounds about right. Sounds like normal inflation to me.

I always avoided this thread due to its title, with the fear that my mother created a post about me. (But I digress, and will save this for my therapist)

Very interesting read and a lot of good insights. I think it's not really a lack of talent, but a lack of access to available talent. Be it the price, the risk or other parameters. I only book Incall and really wished VOG would offer that.

Long time lurker.

Post COVID, the quality of talent has definitely declined and anyone who disagrees is either being dishonest or has unconventional preferences.

Most men prefer young thin women with long hair, minimal tattoos, and minimal plastic surgery. Think of someone like an Olivia Dunne. Before COVID, these types of providers were fairly common if not the majority.

Post COVID, the average provider is significantly older (25+, if not well into their 30s), heavier, more covered in tattoos, and more likely to have distasteful plastic surgery like goofy duck lips. The quality of service has also significantly declined with agencies and providers still advertising GFE but most refusing DFK and barely tolerating LFK. Clearly, nobody should be compelled to do anything that they don't want to do but they should be honest and advertise themselves as "Non-GFE" but they won't because they know that they won't get any business especially with the current rates. It also doesn't help that there are also legions of simps and white knights who excuse this dishonest behavior and even advocate for clients to earn these "privileges" by bringing gifts or becoming a "regular" to establish rapport with the provider. Rushing clients to finish and outright cutting the hour short has also become common place.

Unfortunately, things are unlikely to improve. With declining birth rates in the Western world, there are fewer and fewer young women in general. And of the few young women that there are, many can make much more money doing "digital sex work" like OnlyFans as others have mentioned.

But they are not the same as agencies. You don't get the same services, its a lot more YMMV and the prices are not the same and can be "random". I been in the business 15 years and i never been to a massage parlor. Came close a few times because i knew a specific girl i wanted to see was there, but the uncertain factor made me decided to not go.

I agree with OP that the outcall scene sadly has drastically shrink. But personally i had great services from Luxury and they have some SPs i would like to (re)meet and i guess unlike OP even tough i don't like it as much, i resolved myself that sometimes ill have to do incalls...

You don’t even hobby enough to know what the rates are these days, so why comment? If you want to voluntarily light up your cash, have at it! I’ll be chuckling on the sidelines. Incredible you’re actually quoting even higher rates than they are! Ridiculous!! But you don’t even hobby in Montreal at any kind of volume, so the whole point is moot. White knights who defend paying higher rates, wanting to pay higher rates!!… SMH. Just as bad as the NewYorkers who go everywhere and exclaim “OMG, this is so cheap, I’d happily pay so much more!” And in turn crank up inflation for everyone else.

The point is Montreal used to be a bargain. Admittedly, it was probably charging less than true value for the GFE standards 10-20 years ago. The whole point was the rates didn’t keep up with inflation! That’s what made it a bargain!

That bargain gap however has closed, and perhaps rates have even overshot in the last 2-4 years. Today, it’s fair value, maybe even overpriced for the actual experience clients receive. Combine that with the general inflation in Montreal cost of living / visiting - there are better places in the world for hobby travel. That was the point.

I wasn't so sure about this, but the College-Age (aka Prime SP) Cohort is significantly (~20%) smaller than their predecessors 10 years ago in both Canada and Quebec:

It appears things may improve for those still in the hobby 7-10 years from now lol.

But I think the decline in the "participation rate" has been an even bigger factor than the size of the "prime age workforce". A few years ago it seemed all the girls at XO were using their earnings to get into flipping condos and leave the industry. There are still a lot of opportunities for hot girls to make money as a waitress, bottle girl, etc. Will be interesting to see if an economic downturn leads to a rebound in the participation rate.
