SUPERCHAT part 2
We've had a pretty successful first outing a couple of weeks ago, then a few mini-evenings organized by CK_NJ (thanks, buddy!). but i think it's time for another big evening edition of the chat!
So let's try it again next week. Monday, May the 15th, all merb members are invited to pass by for an evening of chatting, goofing, hockey mourning (for Techman ), and whatever else will come to mind...
And once again, I'll be there at 7pm to open up a chat room called "MERB SUPERCHAT" . For everyone interested to attend, kindly try going in advance to the joint MERB/PERB/TERB room to see if your computer will allow you to do so, then join us next week for however much time you feel like.
If there are any questions, you can pm me in the next few days and I'll try to answer...

Shucks folks!! It's not like i did a lot, but I appreciate the gestures. It's Mother's day weekend and i'm sure many of you are busy being with your mothers (i already went out with mine last night, she was so touched!), or are a mother yourself celebrating with your own wee ones (a few of my favorite ladies from here are in the yummy mommy category).
Again, bumping up this thread to remind all about our fun little evening tomorrow. a few new people seem willing to pass by this time out (I hear Sunny from montrealHotGirls was there last week. sunny, you're more than welcome to show up again. Here's a dare: How about you have one of your girls drop in as well? hmmmm.....). The invitation is also open to the other operators, but please keep in mind the rules our moderators wish us to follow

Some helpful hints, then: to access the chat area, simply click in the square marked chat that can be seen on every page of the merb website at the top, on the horyzontal line that begins with ARCHIVE. A new window will appear entitled Flashchat v4 4.2. The window takes about a minute to charge up.
You will then enter the communal MERB/TERB/PERB chat area, available to all members of these 3 pan-canadian sites.
To enter the specific "room" I will be creating (which will of course be called "MERB SUPERCHAT"), go to the top of the page where it says: Welcome shijak@merb (or rather your own handle). Below it says ROOM and the default setting THE LOUNGE. go to the arrows at the end of this line and click on them. You will then select the room you wish to enter (there will likely be 4 of them (the Lounge, Champagne Room, the perbites room , and MERB SUPERCHAT)
If you still cannot enter any of these, you might be missing something in your computer, or have a specific problem. I recommend prior testing before tomorrow night, and contacting the mods for help...

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but the last time I got on MERB Chat, Firefox does not play well with it. In particular, when you type in the chat box, its very slow which causes confusion and mistyping. So I recommend using IE for the chat in case you are an FF user.

Shijak has done well again! At least 14 people on right now and growing.
Someone in the chatroom found a way to sign on without having to hit the Chat button up top. It was causing them signon errors. I could not figure out what they said to do, but I know Shijak read it too. Shijak, if you remember, post the info. I have heard that several members have had trouble signing on to chat...
