Including the playoffs in the 14 game season for the Miami Dolphins in 1972, the Patriots have now equalled the Dolphins perfect 17-0. Now that they have gone this far, do you want them to go further to a perfect 19-0 so you can say...I witnessed something that will probably never happen again, something that I will always remember? Or do you still want them to fail.

Obviously, somebody is simply in love with the "Wild West Era" and everything that smells of cowboys: including saddle sores, cactus, prairie dogs, rattlesnakes, rustlers, dusty trails, cheap whore houses, hard tack, lousy whiskey, riding behind cattle, burning cow chips, and smelling like his horse. So an impulsive fetish for a football team whose name evokes all those beautiful treasures is no surprise.

I basically hope the Packers beat the Patriots. The Patriots have everything going against them :
-They're a Boston team, that in itself is reason enough to want them to taste defeat at the worse possible time.
-The "Patriots"!!... OK it's 2008 folks, let's get over the colonizing chip on the shoulder and bravado.
- As importantly though, they're not the underdog.

I could care less about seeing a perfect season in the making.... oh and "history" ?? ... puh-leeze, letr's say, once in a lifetime, but "history " concerns the important stuff. This is football a sport about money played by multimillionaires.

You must be a Nuuu Yoika...lol. That would explain the hate. Win or lose this is the Golden Age in sports for Boston. Three Super Bowl Championships and two World Series Championships in just six years; and the Celtics resurgent...YEAH BAAAAABY!!! I have paid a hell of a lot of dues in 40 years being a faithful baseball, football, and basketball Boston fan. I even followed the Bruins closely for 25 years. Now maybe my team can achieve something no other team in any sport has achieved in a "lifetime". To those of you who are resentful...Bronx Cheers. To my fellow faithful fan brothers and sisters...COWABUNGA!!!
