Patriots lose... Again.
Brady is starting to show that age is catching up even for him. Perhaps that first round bye is not a shoe in anymore.Im not a Patriot basher , have much respect for this great team and it’s quarterback and everything they have achieved.
That being said I’d prefer another team to win the AFC this year instead of them.Just don’t feel like watching them in the big game every year.If they continue playing uninspired like they have lately then most probably I’ll get my wish.
Is it just me or does it seem that the Colts suddenly out of nowhere look like a team who might overtake Baltimore for that final playoff spot down the stretch. They look like there playing with house money and that makes them a dangerous team.
I’m predicting the Charges or Texans to win the AFC , in that order. At least I want them to :)

Watched the Saints vs Panthers game last night.Didnt watch the whole game , on and off basically.Sloppy sloppy game though, from both teams.Saints won in the end and there defence was most impressive in my opinion. If the offence gets back on track and with the number one seed almost in there back pocket then there is a great chance we will be watching them come this February.
Panthers played poorly , although in two weeks time they will get a chance to play spoiler again.
I’m predicting Saints or Bears for the NFC, in that order.
Football though is a game of attrition more so than other sports,, so a lot can change with two games left to go for any of the remaining contending teams.Still I’m rooting for Drew Bree’s , go Saints .

Not a pretty win for the Saints...Drew lost his touch in last 3 games but i don't worry.....nothing compare to Newton....how bad and inaccurate...this guy can't throw the ball...obvious shoulder problem...better to fix it....yep Go Saints go.

Yes Gaby I agree.Pretty ugly game from Newton.Seems like he’s definitely hurting. No way he’s healthy and playing that bad .
As for Drew Bree’s numbers going down I wonder is it because defences have figured something out or maybe fatigue is setting in at the end of a long and tough season for him. He is almost 40 after all.

Yep that's why he needs his offensive line to protect him in his pocket....he is not Mahomes to run out of his pocket like a bird...lol....BUT at 39 he is still quite athletic and in shape.....he is still my favorite...like him a lot....wish him the best .

Towards the end of the NFL season and into the playoffs it's all about defense! Defense wins championships! :first:

Very true. But the league is constantly changing the rules giving an advantage to the offence , making it more challenging for the defence and thus changing the way the game is played. The new NFL is in perpetual change,, trying to protect there star quarterbacks and keep the game exciting. I don’t completely agree with this but it is what it is .
Come February we shall see if the Defence is still king .

In fact, I totally agree with you. It use to be that the defensive side of the game was macro managed - that is, geared to stopping a team for the whole game! Whereas now the defensive strategy is more micro managed, set up at stopping the offense on key drives and key plays in the game!...and this is where the better defensive teams with impact defensive players would excel!

Yup bad game from Rivers last night, never really got into a rhythm pretty much unwatchable.
Jackson played a hell of a game ,, could turn out to be something really special for Baltimore if he can keep getting better and doesn’t get hurt of course.

Looking forward to the Steelers vs Saints game .

Nick Foles is lighting it up!!!
He’s really something to watch when he’s on ,, unfortunately it might be a bit to late for the Eagles .

Foles is one of these QBs who can get very hot and carry a team, he can also look bad at times. On balance I would say he is the best backup QB in the NFL.

Best backup no doubt,, hell Eb I’d say he’s better than a lot of starting QBs aswell :)

If they whould have made the switch a bit earlier they probably whould have made the playoffs, now it’s looking unlikely.

I agree still alive Gaby
But for them to progress they will need a Minnesota team to lose at home against a disinterested Chicago team

But then again who knows,, stranger things have happened :)

WOW...just WOW....Another super Sunday.

SAINTS 31 STEELERS 28....a fantastic game...Drew passed for 326y....they will have home field advantage in playoff....big big plus...BUT what about big Ben...he never gives up...he passed 380y...3TD...and what a duo with BROWN:yo: .... one word for big Ben...RESPECT....Steelers played a better game BUT a tragic fumble in the last play and it was it....significant blow to the Steelers playoff hopes. That said am very happy for my Saints...they will have to pick up momentum to be ready for playoff.

SEAHAWKS 38 CHIEFS 31....MAHOMES again did well with some magic plays BUT WILSON was too good and too perfect....just wow....Seattle was a better team with full control of that game....was really fun to watch......

Thanks guys for an amazing Sunday.

CHARGERS 23 RAVENS 16....not a spectacular one....nothing really exciting except last 2 minutes and again Jackson fumbles the ball....Chargers and Rivers just did what they need to win.....should be a better one next week.....can't wait.

WOW...EAGLES 16 BEARS 15.....another drama-ending when kicker Cody Parkey hit the left upright and then the crossbar with a field-goal attempt from 43 yards with 10 seconds remaining....incredible......they will play SAINTS next week.....should be a good one.

Totally agree with you Valcazar! Just a horrible finish for the Bears! I'm shocked! The Bears were the best team in the NFC down the stretch because they had the best defense...and to go out like that because of an incompetent field goal kicker is a real shame!

I am a firm believer that defense and special teams are the deciding factors in the playoffs...and so far that's been the script!

I hope the Saints beat the crap out of the Philly Cheesesteaks next Sunday!
