The Dallas/SF game was pretty good. Dallas was behind by 7 in the 2-minute warning and then went on an exciting touchdown drive with some long pass completions leading to first downs. They could have won with a TD and the extra point with seconds to go. Then the clock ran out on them. Too bad. It's always a letdown when games just peter out like that. I was kind of shocked that Prescott had no time to even spike the ball to stop the clock. That Dallas-San Francisco game got exciting and sloppy towards the end.
But what's been mostly true all year was true again yesterday: Dallas only looks good because they played bad teams. The NFC East is pretty weak. Outside their NFC East schedule, Cowboys only won maybe two games against teams with winning records. The only playoff team Dallas beat during the regular season was the Eagles--the Eagles that barely made the playoffs and was whupped by Tampa Bay yesterday.
