That Dallas-San Francisco game got exciting and sloppy towards the end.

But what's been mostly true all year was true again yesterday: Dallas only looks good because they played bad teams. The NFC East is pretty weak. Outside their NFC East schedule, Cowboys only won maybe two games against teams with winning records. The only playoff team Dallas beat during the regular season was the Eagles--the Eagles that barely made the playoffs and was whupped by Tampa Bay yesterday.
The Dallas/SF game was pretty good. Dallas was behind by 7 in the 2-minute warning and then went on an exciting touchdown drive with some long pass completions leading to first downs. They could have won with a TD and the extra point with seconds to go. Then the clock ran out on them. Too bad. It's always a letdown when games just peter out like that. I was kind of shocked that Prescott had no time to even spike the ball to stop the clock.

The clock ran out on them because they had committed 2 stupid penalties on the prior drive by SF, including a defensive holding penalty on Gregory which created an automatic 1st down, that needlessly and artificially lengthened that drive. Overall Dallas had 14 penalties in the game, a franchise playoff record. At the end of the game they called a risky play (QB draw) with 14 seconds left, but it would not have been as risky if they had not lost as much time as they did on their prior defensive possession. Dallas led the NFL in penalties this year, so what happened to them was in keeping with how they have played all year. They have some very undisciplined players on that team, who have not been taught how to play disciplined football. In the end, they got what they deserved.

Joe Burrow has been sacked 5 times in the first half but is 17-24 passing for 236 yards, and his team is winning 9-6. WOW. QBs that get sacked 5 times in a half usually don't put up any stats!

The NFL has fined Tyreek Hill a little over $12,000 for "unsportsmanlike conduct" for grabbing a cheerleader's pom poms and dancing after a TD against the Steelers last week, before Mahomes pulled him back on the field. He was not penalized for the conduct, which is captured on this video:

Wow! Joe Burrow is the new "Joe Cool"!...sacked 9 times but it didn't stop him from driving the Bengals down into scoring position for that monster 50+ yard field goal by rookie kicker McPherson!

...man do the Bengals have balls!...LoL!
..The Bengals maul the Titans!...The Bengals maul the Titans!

Yes an exciting game but what a heart breaker for Brady fans. Bucs make a great comeback to tie the game then lose when Rams kick a field goal with like 3 seconds left.
Oh well. At least there have been some good games during this playoff season.

I feel like TB made a mistake blitzing Stafford and leaving Kupp open for a 44 yard bomb that set up the winning FG. Obviously the TB coaches did not have too much respect for Stafford but I think it was risky, dangerous, nonsense defensive play calling in that situation. You play for OT. You don't allow a deep pass. A coaching decision lost that game, not the players.

Wow what a game! KC wins in overtime. The only team this weekend to win it with a TD instead of a field goal.
You can't say this hasn't been an exciting weekend for NFL games.
