Another irrelevant post by the most irrelevant poster on this board.

Obviously it must be pretty frustrating being a Leafs fan. :(

Personal insults won’t make your team any better nor will help your Leafs make the playoffs - which Toronto will miss for a fourth straight season. :D

I have to agree with the Doc on this one. Your Toronto bashing posts are getting tiresome. Can't you come up with anything else?

You can't blame gohabsgo for telling the truth. If Toronto ever shakes off its 41 years of incompetence and failure, gohabsgo will probably be a big enough man to congratulate them.

And your posts are in general are as irrelevant as GoHabGo's......in every thread you've ever posted in! Why do you always have to be 99% negative all the time? You need to get laid, my man....and fast!

Based on that "logic" Doc you must be one happy fella: after all, as an admitted Leafs fan you've been getting fucked on a regular basis for 41 years!

New Defense Coach ;)

Good win for the Canadians against Buffalo 24 hours after their dismal performance against Washington. They got a new defense coach; a very expensive one though in Mike Komisarek :p

From a perfect game to almost a disaster

59 seconds mental lapse in the third period that gave Atlanta 3 goals to tie the game up at 3-3 after we were dominating the game. The game ended 5-4 win by the Canadians. What counts is that we got the 2 points.

Thanks,
MC

A big win for the Red, White & Blue last night against the conference leading Rangers as the Habs enter their 100th season! :D

http://canadiens.nhl.com/team/app?gameNumber=366&gameType=2&page=Recap&season=20082009&service=page

The Canadiens, founded on Dec. 9, 1909, as an inaugural member of the National Hockey Association, unveiled bronze statues of Howie Morenz, Maurice "Rocket" Richard, Jean Beliveau and Guy Lafleur outside the Bell Centre earlier in the day.

The throwback uniforms looked great as part of the team's centennial as Habs fans celebrate the team's rich and storied tradition! :D

By comparison, another original team - the one from Toronto - has no such proud tradition as the sad sack Leaf organization hasn't had so much of as a sniff the Stanley Cup finals in 42 years! :D

Dear Habs Fan !
I took a couple hours this evening to walk at the Centennial Plaza at Bell Centre in order to see The bronze likenesses in action poses of Howie Morenz, The "" Rocket "" Maurice Richard, "" Le Gros Bill "" Jean Beliveau and "" La Comet Blonde "" Guy Lafleur !!! Perhaps the greatest players to ever skate for the Canadiens !! The statues are wanderful !
A must see for any NHL Hockey Fan !!!

Actually they were founded on DEC 4 1909.They played their first game on January 5th 1910.
I thought the 1915-16 uniforms they wore against the Rangers were cool but not that different from the classic one.
Wait till they put on the first one(1909-10)!!All blue with white stripes and a white ''C'' for the crest. That will be a shocker.LoL!

Lost against Brodeur-less NJ

For the first time in a dozen of years we faced NJ at home with a goalie other than Brodeur (11 years and 10 months to be exact); we didn't profit from that opportunity and lost to them in OT by a score of 2-1.

Komisarek lost his perfect record as assistant coach; he is now at 3-0-1

Thanks,
MC

TORONTO - David Nonis is the Toronto Maple Leafs' new senior vice president of hockey operations, the club announced Saturday.

Big deal, Nonis did nothing when he was the Canucks G.M., so he'll be a perfect fit in Toronto! :D Besides, Burke is over rated. Burke has proven to be a lousy G.M. with and without the salary cap. Bryan Murray had all the pieces in place before Burke took over in Anaheim. With Burke, the Toronto franchise assures itself of another 42 seasons of futility! :D

Another useless post by the Mr. Know-Nothing. For your information, Brian Burke won the Cup with Anaheim just under 2 years ago.

The Habs seem to like to be outshot in the third period, by a lot. WTF??? This year the Habs have been outshot 261-236 in the third period including 20-9 against Carolina where they blew a third period lead, 16-4 against Detroit, although they won and 9-1 tonight agaist Calgary, also a win. This is not good. They are still not playing 60 minutes of hockey. Is it complacency, over confidence in their goaltending or a lack of conditioning. It's perplexing considering their coaching staff. Carbonneau, Jarvis and Muller were workhorses in their playing days and had the ability to be clutch when needed. If I were their coach, I would work them like dogs until I saw a 60 minute effort, win or lose. they take too many periods off. this is NOT a cotender, not right now anyway. If they bear down, they can be.

All is right in the hockey universe: Habs win, Maple Turds lose

A big win for the Habs tonight over a very good Flyers team as AK 27 notches his 900th career point and the Red, White & Blue welcome back Komi! :D

http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/265556.html

Meanwhile, the shitty Toronto Maple Turds surrender 8 goals in defeat!

Flyers were due for a loss after a very strong run...flu is running through the team now but the HABS were due for a win after losing three straight.

It does amaze me though GOHABSGO that you only seem to come on here when the HABS win...real hockey fans aren't afraid to to take the good with the bad.

Congarts on the win.

What are you talking about?

Unlike fickle, fair-weather and bandwagon jumping Flyer fans, Habs fans always stick with their team. Once Philly is eliminated, Flyer fans will be jumping on the Penguins or Rangers bandwagon!

Actualty we Flyers fans hate the rangers and pens.... I'd cheer for the HABS first!!!

But regarding you're showing up tonight after not a peep during your 3 game losing streak...enough said regarding who the true fans are. You disappeared last season after talking crap...I guess some people never learn.

A tremendous milestone for the greatest hockey franchise in history - if not in all of professional sports!

Yes it is a tremendous milestone and yes the habs are the greatest hockey franchise in history.

Let's not get too carried away though - because most of what makes these statements true took place many years ago. It's now 2009 and in the 30 years since 1979, the habs have won only 2 Cups. (True, the stinking Maple Leafs would kill for even a hint of 2 finals, but that's because the Leafs stink worse than a Polish sausage that's been sitting in the backyard since 1979!)

In recent times (say the last 2 decades) it is the Detroit Red Wings who have exemplified true class and excellence in the hockey world.

A big win for the Red, White & Blue tonight against a very good Ranger team as Lang records a hat trick – including a highlight reel goal! :)

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/

Meanwhile, in his first big move, Toronto’s new G.M. Burke makes a major trade by throwing away a draft pick on washed up slug Brad May – Leaf fans have started planning the Stanley Cup parade route. Actually, the only Stanley Cup you will ever see in Toronto is in the Hockey Hall of Fame! :D
