In the point system we use Svechnikov ( 1 goal last 11 games ) got 3.42 avg while Niederreiter got 4.55 avg ( in last 14 days ) but they both sucked against TB. Will decide before game time.
NOTE: plus minus plays a part in our point system also.

Well folks from all divisions LEAFS are the ones with the more comfortable lead...it's a short season....at the end of the day i believe they will fight JETS for first place.....would bet on them....tellement de profondeur au centre ....

ESPN thinks the Hart Trophy/MVP race is between McDavid and Matthews.

The debate as to whether Matthews or Patrik Laine should have been drafted #1 in 2016 finally seems to be over. Matthews has played 302 games and produced 316 points. Laine has played 319 games and produced 260 points. Mathews is a point a game player plus; Laine is not. Matthews also has more goals, which surprises me as I thought Laine would be the better goal scorer. But Matthews has just been the better player. 5 years later, we can finally say that Toronto got it right when they picked Matthews #1.

The Leafs swept the 3 games from the Oilers and are running away with the Canadian division like a freight train that has lost its brakes. They are now leading the NHL in points and the 28 year Stanley Cup drought for Canadian teams might even end this year unless Tampa Bay has something to say about it, which they may.

Also playing well is the Las Vegas Golden Knights. They and M.A. Fleury are having a very strong season.

Agree...Leafs look very good --serious.....same for TBAY and VEGAS.....would add WASH...we forget about them BUT they still have a good and competitive team......we should have great playoffs

The Leafs may take Canada but not the cup, without playing teams like TB all year is a disadvantage.

Yep Bergeron with time will get better----like good wine ....would never dump him.....playing with MARCHAND can't stay silent on the long run.....same for McDavid.....will wake up soon.....lolll
