Girls, with all due respect and understanding your frustration I still think that you do not know what you are talking about and have never run a real business. If you run registered business, you must collect GST/QST if your sales are above $30/year and show to corresponding government agency during audit the list of all transactions that states the date and the amount of sale. Government also now demands that most sales are noncash and thus are easy verifiable through banks.
Tell me again after you see my invoices and receipts and the thousands in GST/QST I send the government every quarter. And don’t start me on taxes installments every quarter. Tell me again then that I don’t know what I am talking about.

It’s time client stop thinking escorts can’t do maths and that we’re above taxes.

Related to what @minutemenX is saying tho, if for example i book through your website my dear, and then some good things happen, will you then give me an invoice or some bill that i will pay and then you would provide a payment receipt ? Because that s how it works for traceability regarding taxes. Am i gonna see your TPS/TVQ IDs on the receipt as well as the registered company name / number ? Just curious

i’ve used an escort agency once in Alberta, at the beginning of my time seeing companions. I wasn’t a huge fan of the aggressiveness of the agency operator when dealing with the customer service side, and I had some thoughts that the girl i saw wasn’t treated the best, and I felt for her. I have only seen indy’s since and I will never turn back. Like mentioned, there is various price ranges for indy’s. Personally, i feel better about spending time with someone who has full control over their bodily autonomy, their safety and have strong boundaries and whether or not they are 20 or 30, or whatever age, id rather be with women in their late 20s to mid to late 30s anyway so i dont see this is as an issue. I dont want to run the risk of seeing a minor, nor do i want to support a business that abuses, coerces or causes harm to the girls they hire

OK, my point was actually not about taxes. I just wanted to point out that if this business is completely decriminalized, the government has no choice but to apply the same rules to it as to any other business (auditable transactions, GST/QST, enforcing noncash transaction of large amounts etc). This would probably be not in the best interests both for providers and the clientele. So, we should think twice if a complete decriminalization would be what we all want. My impression is that the best option would be if the government leaves it alone in a grey zone without aggressively enforcing any current legislation against it.no need to get upset for such
Decriminalization is the best solution to sex work in this country and really anywhere. Legalization will cause a host of issues
