Offering a ride to a girl at the bus stop

I was just wondering what people thought of this, you see a good looking girl waiting for the bus and you just decide to pull over and offer her a ride.

Now, I'm not saying that you pull over next to her in a van with a Cuban guy in the back.

It's more of a nice gesture to her so she wouldn't have to wait half hour for the bus since your both going the same way. Or is this too creepy and will only lead to trouble on my part.

I talking about your heading out saturday night and driving down your street in an upscale neighborhood. You see a girl around the same age as you waiting for the bus and you just pull over and ask her if she needs a lift downtown. I don't see why the girl would get creeped out over this. Your not trying to offer 16 yrs olds a lift, it's a girl who is around the same age as you, your driving a nice car and not some rust bucket, and you are in an upscale safe part of town.

If there is something wrong with this then I think chivalry is dead in this new age we live in.

Lily, the key word in my joke was "upscale neiborhood" not pretty girl. I did'nt even know they had bus in those areas. I also use the public transport and I am very grateful when I'm sitting next to some pretty woman

Honestly, aside from the situation where the guy in the car is anonymous and could drive off anywhere and you know a guy in a hotel room is registered there, why is it more creepy to hook up with a hot guy in a great car who you can see rather than some unknown usually out of shape and probably balding nobody in the room who you know will be taking you for a long ride anyway???
