OnlyFans can be considered a form of sex work due to its involvement in the production and distribution of explicit content in exchange for payment. Unlike traditional pornographic industries, OnlyFans allows individuals to directly monetize their own content and build a personal connection with their subscribers. This shift in the industry has changed the perception of adult entertainment, granting creators more control over their work and image. While societal views on sex work have evolved, stigma and criticism may still exist. Finding potential collaborators on OnlyFans can be facilitated through the power of social media, as platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit allow creators to connect, share their work, and potentially form partnerships. The new generation of OnlyFans creators who have gained significant followings and made a name for themselves can be seen as the modern equivalent of figures like Ron Jeremy, known for their unique content, strong online presence, and dedicated fan base.

I have so many ideas for a potentially Onlyfans sexual and non sexual). There’s so much that could be done! So many potential subscribers to acquire. Once you learn the psychology of the consumer, I imagine it becomes easier to keep them.

Do we have to pay for each member we want to see...or do we pay for them all.. Sorry for my stupid question ?
you have to pay for each onlyfans member you want to see! It can get VERY expensive if you pay for many as its usually around 10-15$ / month (some charge even more, or less)

In my experience, female performers are really wary of male performers in this industry as many were revealed to be abusive and dangerous to work with.

Just my opinion but for someone to pay for only fans, Bahahahaha. If you comment for the personal experience, Bahahahaha.
There is no reason to pay for porn.
IMO.
Okay. People still do pay for porn and have been since the 70’s though. I’d personally like to get into the business of Onlyfans because I have a lot of ideas for maybe unique content.

There is a few strategy for them to acquire and retain their customers. The best one I’ve seen so far is a hottie female creator on Tiktok who is posting silly dance clips. She is always sexy, at a point where you get to wonder « does she have a onlyfans account? ». She has 2.3 million followers on Tiktok. She also has multiple accounts on FB where she post regurlaly Reels. Since the algorythm figure out that I like to watch sexy girls, I mainly received hotties Reels, a few one from that creator. Never its mentionned on any of her posts that she has a OF account. Took me a few weeks to finally find out on Google that she has an OF account. She dont use the same name on that account. She charge 20$US per month. No PPV at all. A few sexy posting per week, one full sex post per week. She gets between 2-3k likes on every single posts. Do the math. She has build up her fan base with Tiktok and now it’s $$$. Here in Quebec the market is a lot smaller. All creators from Canada that I have seen on OF charged between 5$ to 20$ per month but nearly any sex content is PPV.

1) Is Onlyfans considered sex-work? Why?

- Yes ... its pretty much a new form of porn in a way, but not just that, it varies by creator

2)Is Onlyfans perceived the same way as Pornstars were in the past? Why ?

- If she does porn... then yes. Some just do nude content, some are not even nude...

3) Would Bella Knox have received as much backlash today for Onlyfans as in 2014 for her Porn? Why?

- I remember her vaguely. Didn't she got backlash because she shot for a very abusive website and also pretty much still while in school? Personally she wasn't much my style so i never looked much into it. OF had its buzzing as well with some creators.

4) How does one go about looking for a someone to do onlyfans with? Is this what they call the power of social media?

- Not sure to understand your question. Usually girls do it solo or with their BF, then they do collabs with other girls, some are ok to do collabs with some males. But males on OF are MOSTLY established male performers.

5) Who is the Ron Jeremy of Onlyfans for the new generation? Why?

Not sure what you mean by Ron Jeremy... As in old, ugly and fat? I have no idea. If you meant King of porn , likely Keiran Lee wich has been pretty much Brazzers top guy for close to 20 years by now. Never found him anything special personally. I mean dick ain't small but so is the case of many more male performers, but i guess Brazzers really liked him so he became THE GUY that was "fed" every hot new comers. He pretty much fuck anyone in the industry and beyond from 2005+

As for the rest OF has been discussed Ad Nauseum, i made myself some pretty lenghty post in similar thread so if you want to see more...

1) Is Onlyfans considered sex-work? Why?

Onlyfans is technically just monetization platform. Not all creators perform sexual related content (probably less than 1% however).
I do think that any person that performs anything sexually/erotic related and gets paid for it = sex work , regardless of the platform.

4) How does one go about looking for a someone to do onlyfans with? Is this what they call the power of social media?

Good luck! Pretty sure models get hit up a lot by people wanting to do just that all the time. I remember some interview a while ago where a porn producer was explaining how few guys can actually perform in front of the camera on a production set. So unless the guy has a proven track record (ex: successful content creator), you're probably going to be SoL (shit out of luck) or end up as a blooper on Efukt. Perhaps if you see a SP that also does OF content you can discuss it with her?

5) Who is the Ron Jeremy of Onlyfans for the new generation? Why?

No idea. "The Hedhog" was never considered attractive, but he had a big dick and could perform on command. He was considered more like a circus freak than a performer and you could tell girls weren't exactly thrilled to do a scene with him. This at a time where porn production was quite underground probably wasn't easy to recruit new male talent. Boogie Nights starring Mark Wahlberg comes to mind.

In today's world, I think the entertainment industry really ignores those that have unnatractive features unless they have spectacular talent. It isn't rare to see them be physically transformed following their success. How many Freddie Mercury types won't make it because they don't fit a certain beauty mold? or Adele or Susan Boyle? Sadly, not surprising that all music and movies look and sound about the same or some remake targetting a new generation.

The same can be said in porn. Apart from some really well known guys like Johnny Sins, Keiran Lee, James Dean, Manuel Ferrara, Rocco Siffredi, etc... all whom have been around for a LONG TIME, can you really say that you notice the new guys all that much? Seems like they are all the same now, just some stunt dick filling a spot.

As for having an ideas, everyone has them. The real skill will always be the ability to execute them - "The cemetery is filled with great ideas". Also, just because you find it great, doesn't mean it will be successful but hey, you can always submit your ideas and see what happens. Montreal being the porn hub it is, shoudn't be hard to get in contact with someone. But as others have mentionned, its likely been done already and if its not easy to find, it might just not be popular.

4) How does one go about looking for a someone to do onlyfans with? Is this what they call the power of social media?

OF is a way many of these girls get away from being dictated to by a man, and gives her the freedom to do things as she wants and how she likes.

Often even in amature porn the girl was paid for, while the guy wasn't. People tuning in to watch aren't watching to see him. Often it is guys tuning in to watch her, and what she does.

The likelihood of a girl being willing to create an OF account with a guy who isn't her bf, is pretty low. Especially when to her it is just some guy who is trying to make a following or make money off her that she would likely make more without needing to split with him, to what, be dictated to and do what he want's instead of doing her own thing?

Besides that she doesn't even know you, and would she want to have a business tied to you? Would she even be able to tolerate a relationship with you for that long? It is a form of relationship, and girls don't get into OF to have an onscreen ff for life.

Asking a girl to partner up for an OF account isn't realistic, and isn't very likely. She has a better chance having her own account, and getting to be with whoever she wants, so that you aren't the one profiting off her. Even if she is single now. How would her future bf feel about her being tied to you for her finances.

These accounts aren't for 1-2 months. They are for the entirety of time they wish to be on OF. And are designed in a way for subscriptions, looking for people who want to keep paying to see content regularly being produced.

Would a girl want to be tied to you for that, and have to only rely on content with you to make that happen? If she is with other people, you would still be making money off her. She doesn't want to get into OF to essentially have you as her online pimp. Making money off her.

It is different if you asked to collaborate for a video or something, but you are essentially asking that you want someone who is financially tied to you as a partner on OF. Not just to be in a video or 2. Unless you are actually in a relationship with this person, then it isn't in her best interest to pair up with you in this business endeavor.

*And am speaking from the context of being asked this very thing by text before, a couple of times. And this is my personal view on being asked to make an OF account as a partnership because he can't do it on his own and expect views.

Likely you should just offer your services and ideas as an employee of the OF model, and not expect her to partner up so that she is tied to you for the existence of her channel.

IMO.

Supporting the people who worked to produce it is a pretty good reason IMO. One could argue that there's no reason to pay for sex considering there is no shortage of people willing to have sex for free ;)

1) Is Onlyfans considered sex-work? Why?

In the context of pornographic content, yes. For obvious reasons lol. Sex work is an umbrella term and porn is included under that umbrella.

2)Is Onlyfans perceived the same way as Pornstars were in the past? Why ?

I'm not sure. I mean people have always hated sluts but I don't know if there's a difference between how people perceive mainstream porn from the 2000s and onlyfans porn in the 2020s.

3) Would Bella Knox have received as much backlash today for Onlyfans as in 2014 for her Porn? Why?

I don't know. Lol

4) How does one go about looking for a someone to do onlyfans with? Is this what they call the power of social media?

I find most of my content partners from social media indeed. But as a general rule, most of the creators I know will only shoot with other established creators. And we tend to be very picky with men because FAR too many use content creation as an excuse to fuck hot girls and don't actually see it as work. Too many behave in a predatory way and have zero awareness of the way consent and boundaries work. Too many also love the idea of creating content but once they get there, they wanna fuck off camera or lose their erection the second the camera comes on and that's a waste of everyone's time.

5) Who is the Ron Jeremy of Onlyfans for the new generation? Why?

Not sure if you mean ugly, or predatory? Lol. I have too many bad things to say about this guy and the only answer I could give this question would be something like "(predator name) because he's predatory, duh"
