I am neither a shill or a spokesperson for FKS, but indeed I a few others have made reference to some of the ladies who belong to this coop of independents. So it is in that spirit that I answer your questions.
If you search the message board I believe there was a thread about FKS in which Melanie posted a response which can pretty much answer the questions you may have about the membership fees and their purpose. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE AN FKS MEMBER TO SEE THE LADIES. If you have a prior association with the ladies or their website with contact information is still in the public domain, then you can contact them and recieve consideration for an appointment. Look in the Montreal Outcall escort board section and locate my post of FKS links and other HDH independents for a list of providers with external websites. This list contains a number of other HDHs who do not currently belong, but inside track says a few will bolt for the gate come the fall. The benefit to them is they have a pool of prequalified/screened clientele, and must bring a certain number of those into the coop to join.

The easiest way to grease the skids in this process, is to see any one of the FKS ladies who still have publicly accessible websites. They can then sponsor you through a referral. I believe a reference through any locally known or well known independent upscale provider would also do the trick. There is a membership fee payable annually which will give you password access to the site. Some members of FKS will advertise exclusively on the FKS site. Each girl is an independent responsible for her own bookings and pays NO fee on a commission basis for bookings obtained through the site. Their advertising and affiliation with FKS is in essence a gold seal for their conduct of business and their services as an escort.
I realize according to your post information that you are in Ottawa. First my condelences. Nobody should be put through that. However, if you travel to Montreal frequently say three to four times a year, membership could have its priviledges. You will get priority to get on a ladies schedule and you will have last minute booking capability through their private numbers.
In addition, a number of these ladies do tour.
