Porcello could go 10-10 with a 4.79 era in 2016 and win the award lol.... 21 million starts next season for him!!!!!! That contract has the possibility to become one of the Worst contracts ever in MLB

My predictions for comeback player of the year honours-

Alex Rodrigues wins it this year and Rick Porkcello wins it next year.:D

Strong win tonight by the Royals. I heard a number of analysts give this one to the Mets because of de Grom's recent performances. He had been unbeaten with a 1.80 in the playoffs. This was one the Mets needed to get.

The worst way to lose is by an error. Especially a foolish running error. It's not over yet though. Take each game for itself and do all you can.

Get Cespedes out of the 4-spot. Last night a fielding error, fatal running error, and he's hitting poorly against KC. Don't risk do or die games with him in a critical position.

I don't have anything against the Mets. I only like seeing a smaller market team that has suffered in recent years get to the top. GO KC.

Well, the Royals came back to tie it in the 9th and won it in extra innings. Talk about giving another game away!!! The Mets should be ashamed of themselves! What a choke job!!!!!! Again!!!

p.s. Matt Harvey pitched great and showed a lot of heart.

No choke. The Royals won the same way they had been winning. By coming from behind. By being relentless.

Devastating 12th inning though. Don't remember an extra inning like that in the World Series. Mets never had a chance after.

Congratulations to the Royals and their fans.

Congratulations to the Kansas City Royals who proved they were the " Cream of the Crop "
What a relentless team, with the heart of a Lion :yield: :hail:

They are young, and will be getting better..I certainly hope we can meet them next year in the rematch !!:thumb:

Now- My Mets !!!

The starting pitching in the World Series was wonderful, and can only improve when Zack Wheeler comes back next year after missing this year with Tommy John surgery
I predicted a third place finish in the NL East this year, so in hindsight, this was a WONDERFUL YEAR for a Met fan :whoo:

Sure I would have liked to see them win it all, but we had our chance, and didn't produce in clutch stuations

Hopefully, we can learn from this..

It's been a couple good years now for the New York Mets, and the New York Rangers in hockey....

The Knicks..well, that's another story :deadhorse:

Best Regards

A-Rod should have got the nod in the AL. But the idiots who vote still believe he's the only one who ever used PED. Just like the idiots who refuse to vote in the likes of Clemens and McGwire, among others. Or still insist Pete Rose should be kept out of the HoF because he bet on baseball when everyone bets today (and our governments are now among sports gambling's most prominent bookies). Heck, Ty Cobb murdered someone and he's still one of Cooperstown's biggest names!

heard the cobb story many times. first he said he was cut and nothing else happened. he changed it several times to make himself look biggerr and badder. the last time he said he slashed a mans face off with a guns aiming sight on the barrell. lol. bigger story bigger money for it.

last may posada claimed arods peds cost him the mvp. can't blame the voters for rejecting acheater caught twice who robbed others

Jose Reyes arrested for domestic abuse

Colorado Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes was arrested for domestic abuse in Hawaii after allegedly assaulting his wife on Oct. 31, according to Hawaii News Now.

The 32-year-old hit .274/.310/.378 in 116 games between the Rockies and the Toronto Blue Jays with seven home runs, 53 RBI and 24 stolen bases. Reyes, Jeff Hoffman, Jesus Tinoco and Miguel Castro were dealt to Colorado in exchange for Troy Tulowitzki and LaTroy Hawkins on July 28.

On Aug. 21, MLB and MLBPA announced an agreement on a Joint Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Policy. This is the first reported incident since that announcement.

Craig Kimbrel to the Red Sox for 4 prospects

My Mets could have used him

I wonder what it would have cost us ...

Kimbrel is an okay move for the Red Sox, he is coming off of career lows for ERA and WHIP, he is also coming to the AL East where a lot of pitchers have failed after the move to the division, you have to wonder if the Padres know something, the Red Sox would have been better off signing Andrew Miller when he was a free agent(IMHO).
