What happened to all of the Red Sox are great, the Red Sox will win the division, the Red Sox have a great farm system, the Red Sox have a great management team, sabermetrics is a reliable measuring analysis, was it just hype?.

Jays vs the Mets, sounds good to me but don't count out the Yankees, one thing that you can surely count out is that the pathetic Red Sox will be playing golf when the playoffs start.

The only new rouge hose farm hand that you can count on as a bright spot as of this moment is Boegarts because he has been good the whole season. Some of the newbies on the roster may be playing well now that the season is lost but that is not indicative of how they will play when the pressure is on and when it matters most, as in when the hosers actually have something to play for, btw that will be going on threee seasons soon of last place finishes proving once again that 2013 was indeed a fluke as experts have been saying for 2 seasons now....

I just think that the Jays are stacked and they are playing their best ball now. And since the trade deadline the Mets Offense went from worst to first. Cespedes was just heating upl when the Tigers traded him. This was a good deal for both teams because I fetl that the Tigers - with their crappy pen and current situation with the rotation this year - was never going to get to the big dance. I think we got two RH fireballers from the Mets farm for Cespedes.

With the Jays clinching and the Red Sox beating the Yankees again, the doc is $500 richer! I never thought i'd like the Red Sox so much until these past couple of nights! ;)

Ellesbury, Gardner and A-Rod have been absolutely terrible in the second half! Chase Headley has been one of baseball's worst third basemen throughout the season! Betances and Miller have carried the team theoughout the season......i don't think the Yankees will get past the wildcard.....they may not even make it!

Boston, on the other hand, have been among the best teams in the AL in the second half. Is it just a coincidence that they've been playing terrific ball since John Farrell left the team? I think Tory Lovullo is making quite a case for himself to have the interim tag removed and could very well be the team's next manager next season.

Go Blue Jays! :thumb:

Congrats to the #1 franchise all time in the history of team sports, Thee NY Yankees, for making the playoffs yet again and tonight was their 10,000 win in team history, just WOW!

Tonights victory was made even sweeter by clinching against the rouge hosers who as we speak are still in last place :thumb: CC pitched like an ace again (like he has in his last 4-5 starts since coming off the DL) and the Veteran Beltran along with the kids in Bird and Refsnyder slammed dingers to seal the deal on yet another successful season, all this with losing their best player in Texiera for the last 2 months, simply incredible that the so called experts had this team finishing last back in april lol.....the experts should start listening to Joe.t and Iggy ;)

And Congratulations to the NY Mets, The Toronto Blue Jays and the rest of the 10 teams that will make the postseason this year. It was a GRRREAT season indeed, just wish Hungry's Tigers would have made the dance as well.
Congrats to the Yankees

It was indeed a great season! Good thing that Torey Lovullo didn't replace the league's worst manager sooner or else the Red Sox probably would have made the playoffs.

I attended a Tigers game at Comerica Park last week & it's an absolutely beautiful stadium!! I plan on going back next summer to watch the Blue Jays play Detroit. I don't know where i'll stay yet...Detroit or Windsor...don't know much about the hotels near the park....but it'll be a trip i won't plan too much in advance since you never know if it'll rain or not.

The Jays are currently tied with the Royals for 1st place in the American League. The Jays get the title if they're still tied come Monday. The first place team will face the winner of the Yankees wild card game. A Yankees/Jays game series would be great! By the way, one thing that's wrong this season is that the Yankees are no longer hateable. It's almost strange to be booing A-Rod these days. Sure, he's arrogant and all...but nothing like Barry Bonds' arrogance. Sure, he took products to boost his performance (and likely slow the aging process....nothing wrong with that). But hundreds of other players used stimulants/steroids/HGH over the past 30-40 years or so. I remember reading a Pete Rose interview in Playboy back in the late 70's where he discussed the rampant use of stimulants among major leaguers throughout the 70's. I remember watching players such as Brad Fullmer, Jeff Bagwell and Brian Downing looking like the Incredible Hulk (wasn't this also Downing's nickname?) during the 80's and 90's....it became almost the norm. What i'm saying is that i'm finally willing to give A-Rod and other notables a pass.

Go Jays!! :thumb:

p.s. Mark Buehrle, who likely won't be named to the playoffs roster, pitched last night and came up a couple of innings short from 200. He'll likely get a chance to pitch a couple of innings tomorrow and my guess is that he'll probably retire after this season.

Congratulations go out to the pitiful Boston Red Sux for finishing "YAWN" in last place(AGAIN), three out of the last four years they have this distinction, good job boys.:thumb:

Meanwhile Congratulations to the Yankees for an outstanding year, my team MVP is none other than Red Sux cast off(God did they ever whiff on this one), Andrew Miller, he of the OUTSTANDING WHIP and FANTASTIC ERA(first in both departments amongst closers), honourable mention go out to Dellin Betances(FANTASTIC ERA and WHIP and finished second in the very important Holds category), honourable mention also to Alex Rodrigues for an amazing season at the advanced age of 40, I would love to see him have this type of season again next year.:thumb:

Sabathia checks into alcohol rehab

The Yankees will be without their ace for the entire post-season. He announced that he has just checked himself into an alcohol rehab center and would therefore miss the entire post-season.

Last nights slide by Chase Utley of the Dodgers to take out Renteria was dirty. How are the Mets supposed to win without their starting middle infielder?

I thought Utkey should of been called out and the runner at first should of been out too. What bullshit. I find it ironic that in the day you can't bowl over the catcher you can break the 2nd basemen's leg by slideing into 2nd and start your slide at the base and not even touch the base?
