Kraft can have HJs at Orchids of Asia every weekend for the rest of his life with the money saved, with plenty left over to sign a good young QB, or even Jameis Winston or Cammy Newton.

We should not lose sight of the fact that apart from the anger over the insulting Kraft offer, there is another reason why Brady announced he was leaving NE: he wants to prove he can win without Belichik, and lift a team up without a coach getting the credit for it. Like the other reason, it is ego driven. And TB does have a team and system that gives him a reasonable opportunity to prove that he was more important to New England's winning than Belichik was. That's what he is out to prove. Will he win more games than Belichik in 2020? We will see.

Tampa might have the best WR combo in the NFL, two very talented guys, they also have the best pass rusher in the NFL this year, it will be an interesting year for them.

My early SB prediction, KC vs Dallas.

My surprise team, Detriot.

Tom Brady picks Buccaneers: Here's the reason Brady reportedly decided not to play for the Chargers
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...dly-decided-not-to-play-for-the-chargers/amp/
With less than 24 hours to go until the start of free agency, Tom Brady hasn't officially picked a team to play for yet, but it appears he'll be heading to the Buccaneers.

Before the news came out that Brady was going to take his talents to Tampa, the other team he was apparently considering was the Los Angeles Chargers. So why didn't Brady end up in L.A.?

According to Jim Trotter of NFL Media, the reason Brady wasn't interested in signing with the Chargers is due to "family considerations." Basically, it seems like Brady's family wouldn't be making the move with him, and since they're based on the East Coast, moving all the way out to Los Angeles would make it difficult for Brady to see his family once the NFL season started. Unless there's a "change of heart" from Brady, the Chargers don't feel like they'll be landing the veteran quarterback.

The Chargers were one of at least two teams that reportedly offered Brady more than $30 million per year this week. With the Chargers ruled out, that cleared the path for Brady to pick the Buccaneers. The decision to go to Tampa makes a lot of sense, and that's because the Buccaneers made it clear this offseason that they wanted him. At the combine in February, Bucs coach Bruce Arians didn't try to hide the fact that he wanted Brady on the team.

Although the Buccaneers seemed like a long shot to land Brady just a few weeks ago, they're now the leader in the clubhouse and a deal seems to be all but done, although it hasn't been officially announced by either Brady or the team......

$30 million reasons.....
When is the Signing?

It's a couple different things. Belichik banned Brady's personal trainer from the team facilities a couple of years ago, in part because he was espousing really whacky ideas about personal training that ran counter to the team's philosophies.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles...s-tom-bradys-trainer-from-team-plane-sideline

This is all about CONTROL, and Belichik squashed this peon trainer like a bug because he dared to advocate different training regimens to not only Brady but other Patriots players, which were methods not approved by Belichik. And this trainer's methods are a bit controversial.

Second, Brady quietly seethes that the Belichik system gets credit for what he should be getting credit for, namely working with a suck-ass corps of WRs, none of whom was a deep threat, and having to self-limit his own freelancing. Brady wants to go somewhere else and show that he can win in any system, that he can lift up a team in any system, can freelance successfully, and that Belichik sucks donkey shit. That is his mindset here. Some posters may think that Brady's public statements show love is lost but his statements are pure PR bullshit, there is no love lost for Belichik or Kraft.

I was thinking this afternoon.......

I wonder if we'll have an NFL footbal season this year. Will we even get to see Brady play in a TB uniform?

The story behind the split btw Brady, Belichick, and the Patriots as told by ESPN.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28936050/the-story-split-tom-brady-bill-belichick-patriots

Someone 'in the know' told me that Bellichik asked Brady to make "Giselle" available for some of the free agents he was trying to recruit and that Brady blew a gasket & swore he'd never play for him again! Then things got heated up & it went right up to Robert Kraft but he didn't want to make a decision since he was too caught up in that legal problem where he was caught on video soliciting sex from a hooker. When Brady found out Kraft wouldn't get involved he supposedly shit his pants & told him he was gone!!

Bills will win the AFC East!!

Brady won’t be throwing 60 yd bombs so 2 great TE’s will be perfect for his 10-20 yd game.

Gronk hasn’t played in a year but if he manages to get back in decent form he will perhaps still command a double team and that will open up other guys and they already have a good WR corps down in Tampa
It’s a good move I think to bring someone familiar for Brady to through to , just as long as he manages to stay healthy, but even when he wasn’t even close to being 100% the Gronk still managed to get Edelman freeee and win the MVP and NE the Super Bowl

Miss sports , we need baseball to start soon
