I think the percentage was about 10%, 10 years ago... where 99% of clients were in their 50s+
this hobby has been flooded with new young clients, so im sure it has increased
i would guess 20%
However if i factor in all the providers that are all available in montreal, they are all getting clients some way or another. So I think it could be much more
I work in the financial district in anti-fraud. I had a Managing Partner approach me and ask me if i can investigate into a fellow partner who he has suspicions of selling firm secrets. I asked him what clues he had that he was selling secrets. He replied that the Partner was traveling the world, and he noticed that all his destinations were where the headquarters of our competitors were located. After accessing all his emails and texts, I discovered that he wasn’t selling firm confidential information but actually touring the world and booking very high end escorts. I honestly think I am the only one who would have deducted this because I recognized the acronyms, anybody else would have glanced over it. I cleared his name. Managing partner asks me how i knew he was innocent, and i told him that he would prefer not to know which he agreed to. 2 weeks later he comes to me again and says “you gotta tell me what he’s doing, im still anxious”. I told him the truth and instantly says “fuck i wish i didn’t know... you were right” awkwardly walks away while i lol’d
So regarding hobbiests recognizing other hobbiests. That is not true for many cases. Maybe dawgs can recognize other dawgs. During the GG, VIP parties, I got to meet a looot of other clients. I first noticed the spectrum of people was very very wide. All ages, all sizes, all races, all different types of personalities. This is actually how iggy sold me to get me to show up because I was originally too shy to meet the other Johns. I highly doubt any of you would label me as a hobbiests on the street.
When im walking downtown super late at night. You can’t ignore the lineups at Nuru Massage and O’Paris.... they have huge lineups, just like Schwartz during rush time. I consider them semi-hobbiests but hobbiests nonetheless just clients who havent taken the full leap into it.
Millennials are more accepting of this and more girls are open to working in it, thanks to the fast-pace lifestyle they (we) grew up with and feminism movement going on, fast money is the way to go. Guys have more accessibility on the internet to search what fancies them, giving them more chances to stumble upon the escort world... only takes 1 really nice picture to get them to try. 1 good experience to make them addicted
so if i had to answer OP’s question it would be “more than you think”
