Tie Game Bernier
I once read that some guy - who obviously knew absolutely nothing about hockey - actually called this guy "Big Game" Bernier!
This article is a good description of Bernier. The only thing it's missing is a reference to Tie Game's favorite hockey player Nelson Mandela.

Bergervin is a idiot, instead of letting Price (the worlds greatest goalie and the only likeable Canadian on the team) have the surgery to repair a damadged knee (one of the most important body parts for a goalie) he is wanting to let him rehab it for 6 weeks in hope he will be 100%.......NEWSFLASH "Bergy", the surgery will make Price 100%, look no further than Tony Romo to see how great rehabbing a serious injury does versus having surgery. It is not like the Montreal Canadians have a stanley cup contending team anyways this season, i mean lets be real here.
The Leafs have a couple available if the habs are interested. They'll take Jared Tinordi in exchange. Or Zach Fucale. Or both and they'll send them Lupul or Bozak.
I totally agree. But Bergervin also knows the habs have no chance of advancing in the playoffs without Price. The doctors probably told him that if he gets the surgery done after the season is over, Price would likely still be ready for training camp. But i'm quite aware of the likely outcome: Price will come back in 6-8 weeks, play great, then likely get injured again. But i can guarantee you that Condom will be seeing quite a bit of ice-time even with Price back. Therrien overused him last season and this season. There's a PRICE to pay for that.
p.s. Who's the only person here who predicted he'd be out longer than 1 week as the team (all liars!) originally claimed?

My sources in Mtl tell me that Carey Price will be out at least until after the holidays. Don't believe a word Therrien or Bergevin tells the media. They're liars. They're such a bunch of f#*# liars that they're still avoiding questions in regards to Price's exact injury, sticking to their 'lower body' talking points. They treat the media and their fans like a bunch of kids in kindergarten! Yet forget that its these same fans that are paying they're huge salaries!
The team finally admitted that their star goalie will be out a minimum of 6 weeks. You've heard it here first, folks! Aren't you glad you get to read 'real' news on Merb?
