thanks everyone for your input :)

I also got a few messages from regulars suggesting I hit them up on days when I have a last minute cancellation to see what they are up to.
It's a good idea to set up such a deal with a few good regulars.

This is something I actually have with quite a few of my regulars. However Ive found the "open booking" doesnt work for me so well because I do share space and actually getting space when the client has time is a bit hard to coordinate. But seeing as we bring in different clients, hopefully it works much better for you <3

Hello all. I don't know anything about GTs, VIP-1s, or what that has to do with the original topic of this thread (prebookings & cancellations). Seems to me like a bit of a hijack or self-promotion attempt. But I do know that a lot of men who visit escorts don't give a royal goddamn about them, and I think that's more to the point. I also know Amelie fairly well, and I know how she treats her clients: which is with more respect and concern than most wives treat their husbands. She -- and every escort who tries to make a real, sustainable living in this world -- deserves better.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Hello all. I don't know anything about GTs, VIP-1s, or what that has to do with the original topic of this thread (prebookings & cancellations).

It's typical of the writer to promote wherever he can, even if he has a grudge against the thread starter..

Merb should have a thread for for sudden availability due to cancellation! The courtisane names the guy and gives the time frame when the rendezvous could occur with someone else!

It's like: due to late cancelations from Pete , I'm available at 19:00 yours truly Roberta !

The culprit can have is name removed with a public apology! And a small fee if he desires to book again the lady .

As a group we can be more disciplined informed and respectful because we are accountable to each other so when we call an sp being a merb member means a plus value ! We do not ask for better rates or unhealthy intercourse but respect on time , clean place honesty!

I agree that a client cancelling at the last minute is not good behaviour at all and disrespectful especially for ostensibly trivial reasons. But . . . I've had independent SPs cancel on me at the last minute as well , and for pretty flimsy reasons--including independents who contribute frequently to this board. Nor have they seemed remorseful. So it goes both ways. Everyone should try their best to honour their commitments. And I think people by and large do.

Look behind you.
I am referring to those who think we, escorts, wait all day long for clients and have no other thing to do than that.

This happens in all walks of life, people do not really care about others and figure so what, nothing to do with the type of business they are disrespectful to. A friend of mine is s chiropractor and gets frequent last minute cancellations or no shows, my ex was notorious for last minute cancellations or always late. It is just the way many people are.

Personally i never canceled a meeting, and this is something i plan on keeping (100% reliability)

The problem is, too much guys want to squeeze a booking during there launch time or when they have free time somewhere in the day or whatever to avoid being caugh and other stuff like that. So when they have unexpected work or whatever, they have to cancel. In my short stint as booker those happened. I guess thats the price of trying to hide your activities.

I would not be surprised some also double book, i know its frustrating to be canceled and having to jump on an emergency plan B, but double booking is not the solution. Personally thats why i always book early and avoid late night appointements, so i can go on plan B if plan A fail and still have plenty of choice.

In any case i make the trip from my town, have to take 1 bus + a ride(or a second bus) to make it to montreal, sometimes its really not easy and yet i managed to far to keep all my scheduled appointements, so im sure other people can do the same.

Chapeau my friend... Great planning skills... That is certainly a quality that I can recognize in you....

Also the fact that you do attach importance to your reliability reputation...

If all women, and men in any business could be like you...

Yes, i can't say for all but for me its also something important to get "plan A". Obviously there is more than 1 lady who interest me at a time, i could name you 10 right now that i would love to see, without even thinking about it, in various agencies and some indies, BUT once i made my "choice" i kinda fantasize about the encounter, to a point it get its own importance. Im looking at the pics and try to put a face to the body, or if i saw her in a party before but it was a while ago i try to remember what her face look like. I (re)read the reviews and get in the mood. Its all part of the fantasy to think im gonna see THAT lady.

So when i got to go plan B, i loose part of this. Of course not saying i won't have fun, i had some plan B turned out to be A+ in the end lol. But since im a very "scheduling" person, going plan B always have me on the nerv for a little while. Go to make quick decision and be fast to call and i dunno... i just prefer to have my appointement scheduled and be respected as planned.

I saw an indy for a while and at first she was reliable and it was great, but then at some point it was not the case anymore. I dunno, maybe she tough that since we knew each other more i wouldn't take it bad to be canceled, but this whole thing clearly broke the trust i had in her and at some point i just decided to not bother anymore, it was not worth my time and effort, despite i always had excellent encounters when they did happen. She knew where i was coming from and that going to MTL is a lot of planning for me.

Im picky on the hotel, got to be not too expensive but close to berry-uqam, yet it can't be too "cheap" like on st-hubert cause some providers don't wan to go there, so i always have to pre-book especially in summer, and therefore i can't cancel the room. I have to find a ride to go and come back from MTL, because its way less costly than a bus. And i usually come to MTL every 2 months or so...sometimes more. So if i get cancel i do have to see someone else and the next possibility is in 2 months.. So thats why reliability for me is something very important.

I know there human and sometimes a cancellation can happen for a valid reason, but having booked myself even for a short while, my spider sense usually can detect when its a BS excuse and when its a genuine one.

Well i hate to say this has happened to me more then i like to admit, Its always a nuisance when this happens for a lot of reasons for which H.M. has touched on, but the worst part is when there isn't a plan B and the agency has no one else available and its so last minute that other places are either totally booked or the girl they offer doesnt interest you. Its not so bad when your told a day or so before but when its the last minute like an hour before this is not kool, but like it was mentioned, things happen and you have to go with it. Its always nice to have a plan B and C if needed. And sometimes you have plan A go so well that you decide to follow it up with plan B later in the evening and it goes even better then plan A, This has happened a couple of times and it was great. So dont knock plan B, its a blessing in disguise...

Well at least for the second time she was probably not expecting you anymore anyway, as you didn't gave any news 24h prior to the day of the booking etc

Hello all,

The difference here is that you, as clients, can bring that up in reviews so that way, others know if the agency/indy is mostly reliable or not.

At times it's not a matter of simply reporting.

I've always tried to give an agency the biggest lead time possible before any cancellations, which have been rare and very few anyway. Still, one agency owner had a fit over it and when I reported his bad behavior his defenders and some shill pals piled on me. Several other people took a more balanced view, but his pals could not see him being wrong at all, and some didn't even think his yelling tirade was rude or excessive.

Then I was scheduled to see an extremely popular flavor of the season type who refused to return my calls after booking because of a change of hotels two days before the scheduled meeting and never made any contact to explain, which left me guessing right past the appointment time. I should have known what was about to happen because of the failure to respond but I held to the appointment as promised. I've been cancelled on by agencies numerous times, and Independents a couple of times. Stuff happens and as long as an agency or Indy calls in a timely manner with a decent reason I might be very disappointed but not angry or annoyed with the agency or Indy. All I would like is for them to be considerate as I want to be when I am on the other side and there's no reason to complain about reasonable responsible behavior. In the case of this lady she totally failed for nearly two days, and I never heard from her afterward, and I waited nearly a week to give her every chance to respond. In my book that's just unacceptable, yet reporting her failure resulted in even more attack dogs making even more excuses for her. Some didn't bother making any. Those said I should be ashamed I reported anything negative on such a sweet girl. Frankly I was ashamed of them for acting so WHIPPED!

There's too many people looking to make points for favors who don't want honest reporting about favorites and will attack honest criticism.

Cheers,

Merlot

Having a few close friends that work in this business, I hear first hand how frustrating it is for them with guys cancelling, seemingly now more than ever. I feel for them because they plan their day/week and in some cases a month in advance and the agencies get just as frustrated. This is why i rarely ever pre book because i hate cancelling because i know it is a pain in the butt for them. I think i cancelled once and that was a long long time ago.

I totaly get that things come up from time to time but also think there are a ton of time wasters out there just playing games.
