Let me correct your statement. It was not the U.S. destroying the U.S.
It was a lunatic mob of anarchists, troublemakers, putin driven conspiracy theorists, die hard orange worshipers and neo nazis who tried but failed to destroy democracy.
It`s outside forces led by blood thirsty dictators and inside forces led by a lunatic fringe in the white house that is trying to compromise the USA and its world leadership.
It was a lunatic mob of anarchists, troublemakers, putin driven conspiracy theorists, die hard orange worshipers and neo nazis who tried but failed to destroy democracy.

I used to hope that political discourse with the right-wing extremists was still possible. But now, it’s clear that there is no negotiating with the Trumpers & other right-wing extremists. They will see any olive branch as a sign of weakness.
Right now, the tide has turned against them so they’ll lay low & pretend to be reasonable but give it a week or so & these right-wing extremists will be right back at it.
We didn’t appease or negotiate w/ the foreign terrorists responsible for 9/11. The same should apply to these domestic terrorists.
