Several top Republican lawmakers said they would skip the Republican National Convention as coronavirus cases climb in Florida, where President Donald Trump is set to accept the party's nomination in August before a large crowd.
And Trump who still denies the importance of the coronavirus.

Trump said that Fauci made lots of mistakes. Surly Fuaci`s response should be that the biggest mistake he made was trying to correct Trump`s mistakes

Trump was right look how long it took him to finally have the guts to disagree with him.
Wasn’t it Fauci that time and time again said that masks aren’t necessary in the beginning or do we only remember what suites our purpose.
Some only start showing some balls when it looks an awful lot that they have dug themselves into a hole and will undoubtedly be blamed for the shit show that is going on and rightfully so.
If you don’t have the guts to say the right thing then quit and let someone else do the job.

Covid-19 crashed onto us like a hurricane and till today, not all that much is known about this coronavirus so mistakes are unavoidable. Dr. Fauci despite his experience & dedication, isn’t infallible. Many experts advised against masks back then because there was a severe mask shortage and it was crucial that the frontline medical staff not be crippled by that shortage

We are going to keep making mistakes but what’s important is that we learn from those mistakes, do better next time & move in the right direction. Trump can’t seem to understand that or simply doesn’t care.

Trump has lost the political center & is rapidly moving towards his radical right base to push up his poll numbers. So we’re going to see more reckless crap like reopening schools in the midst of record infections, pretending Covid-19 is largely harmless, the ignoring of scientific evidence that contradicts Trump’s political agenda.

W/ Trump, we’re not even in the realm of well-intentioned mistakes but literally sprinting in the wrong direction.

I saw redfields interview on CNN the other day. His ass should have been fired two weeks into to that 5 week gap where the testing was F’ed. It’s still f’ed, but Now it goes beyond Alazar and redfield and absolutely includes trump. As per redfield, You don’t let 5 weeks lapse like that, you use The Who test or go to Korea and buy a bunch. Or you figure something else out. They shoulda been testing the shit out of everyone. Aka at the HHS secretary should be gone too. Fauci shouldn’t not be defending redfield. CDC isn’t a cop union, where you can phenagle a way to help your fellow members of your field keep their jobs after they killed people.

Look behind you.
Did this change to a covid-19 thread?
Anyways, voting for Biden because you hate Trump is like eating mouldy bread because you hate brocolli.

No, but COVID is front and center as an issue in the race. Kinda hard to discuss he race without talking about covid. I don’t agree with your analogy, Saul. I don’t mind brocolli. Biden’s like one of those restrictive calorie coutin diet plans. Trumps like drinking chlorox, lol.

Guessing you also think Trump said to inject/drink bleach. The virus will go away, the economy will not. Biden will not win but my guess is that if he does the covid-19 news will stop, it Trump wins we will hear it for another 4 years.

He did say the virus will go away? It’s not a clone that the left grew in a Petri dish that looks like trump saying this shit dude, he said it, it’s been watched live?? Asking if you inject disinfectant? He did say that??

The virus will not go away, lol?!?! We gotta figure out to live with it. I’m not a democrat. I’ll take pence over trump any day. I’ll take kaisich, I’ll take abbot from Texas for F’s sake. He at least realizes a mistake and adjusts. The virus will not go away, you gotta figure out how to live with it other than denial and Not ASKING sorry, not TELLING, how to inject or introduce disinfectant. Biiiiiiigggg difference.

The virus will not go away, it’s here for good. The economy will continue on its cycles. I don’t think trump has jack to do with how good it was, not sure Obama did either, but trump or his clone def don’t deserve the credit.

Trump talks a good game about how much he has done for the economy but I can’t think of anything good that he has really achieved. Monetary policy powers r under the Federal Reserve while Fiscal Policy powers r split between the President & Congress. When the Republicans controlled both the House & Senate, Trump wasted that opportunity by passing tax cuts for the rich & corporate interests that grossly increased the national debt. And no, Trump’s $2 Trillion tax cuts did not pay for themselves. Now that the coronavirus is costing trillions, bet we all wish that the federal govt still had that extra money to help out the affected small business owners & newly unemployed.

I think from my posts it is obvious how I feel about all politicians.
Trump however he has bungled the response to the pandemic was good for the economy.
unemployment was at its lowest the stock markets were at record highs across the board and he had the guts to take on China and stop it from continuing to rape the US and it’s jobs and technology. He was a better choice in my book than Hilary would have been at the time. Now would she have done a better job with this virus, we will never know, but she could not have done much worse.

He is an egotistical arrogant prick and a disgusting human being, but if it wasn’t for this pandemic he would be around for the next 4 years with 100% certainty.
There were other presidents that were disgusting human beings before him Kennedy, Clinton, comes to mind but that doesn’t mean they were the worst choice for the economy and the livelihood of the American people.

Come on Fradi you can`t compare Trump to Kennedy and Clinton. Yes they cheated on their wife like half the guys on this board do. But they had something that Trump is totally devoid of....humanity, compassion and respect for others.

Chuck Woolery, who also once hosted “Love Connection” and now leads the conservative podcast “Blunt Force Truth,” accused everyone from the CDC to the Democratic Party of lying about the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19 in a pair of tweets on Sunday night — which were later retweeted by President Trump.

“The most outrageous lies are the ones about Covid 19. Everyone is lying. The CDC, Media, Democrats, our Doctors, not all but most, that we are told to trust,” Woolery wrote in a Twitter TWTR, -1.05% post. He speculated that coronavirus coverage has been spun to slow down economic recovery in order to influence the U.S. presidential election in November.

Yes, for sure, the elections are so important, that killing almost 136,000 Americans doesn't really matter.

This is the end result of politicizing everything. You end up with this kind of bullshit.

Bill Stepien, President Donald Trump's newly minted campaign manager following a leadership shake-up Wednesday night, brings a vital understanding of data and metrics to the President's reelection bid as it looks to turn around sinking poll numbers in key battleground contests.

Stepien added more than a decade of campaign experience to the Trump campaign's roster when it first looked to course-correct in 2016 amid a slew of gloomy poll numbers both nationally and in battleground states.

Brad Parscale out as Trump's campaign manager.

Too bad I liked Brad Parscale.

Changing campaign managers for Trump is comparable to changing the brand of lipstick one puts on a pig.
