Happy Birthday Donald.
Invited to leave the stage, he seems to know some difficulties on the access ramp, descended with cautious steps.
American media also noted that he needed two hands in the middle of the same speech to raise a glass of water to his lips, and that he had trouble pronouncing General Douglas MacArthur's name correctly, World War II heroes.
To follow with interest, for the Presidential run.
sene5hos,
Seeing Trump unnaturally & awkwardly walk down that gently inclined ramp in a stiff, off-balance way at West Point, I thought it was b/c of his excess weight.. But u’re right that when combined w/ his slurry speech problems & inability to even hold a glass properly, it’s indeed worrying that he might be suffering from a serious medical ailment. Also recall that he held up the bible in a very odd manner during that infamous photo op at St. John’s church after irrationally ordering teargas to be used on peaceful protesters.
One of Trump’s favorite attack tactics is to accuse his opponents of what Trump himself is guilty of; hence, his oft repeated accusations that Biden has dementia. Also, Trump’s judgement has worsened drastically from his first year in office. Back then, he had competent & respected figures like H.R. McMaster, James Mattis, John Kelly guiding him but his paranoia & erratic behavior drove them away.
Trump’s father ( Fred Trump) suffered from Alzheimer’s & Trump’s older brother had a lifelong addiction to alcohol, dying at only 42 yrs. So Trump is probably genetically predisposed to serious mental illness. Also, one of the fastest way to get into Trump’s bad books is to talk about dementia w/ him. It is rumored that part of the reason why Trump fell out w/ his formerly close friend, Joe Scarborough was b/c Scarborough mentioned that Trump might be suffering from dementia. Things have gotten so bad that Trump bizzarely accused Scarborough of murder in a recent tweet.
