Je mange de la poutine environ deux fois par année alors je suis bien mal placé pour en juger la qualité gastronomique.
Pour moi les 3 conditions non négociables sont: des vrais frites maison, une sauce maison et non pas élaborés avec du gravy en poudre et, le fromage en grains ne doit pas être plus vieux que 2 jours. Le reste comme les viandes, garnitures etc. je touche très rarement. Mais une fois, au Cochon Dingue à Québec, j’avais essayé avec porc effiloché et j’avais été très agréablement surpris.

Oh, et le tout doit être très chaud, si le fromage ne fond pas du tout, pour moi c’est une poutine ratée!

Oui il y a un thread sur la poutine.

Je ne suis pas allé au Greenspot depuis p-e 20 ans! Quand j’y allais je commendais les côtelettes de porc ou un truc du genre, cuisine québécoise!

Le Greenspot n'est pas ma place préférée pour la poutine non plus. J'allais surtout à ce restaurant pour déjeuner quand j'habitais à un coin de rue. Je voyais toujours la même serveuse, elle était vraiment gentille.

Le Greenspot n'est pas ma place préférée pour la poutine non plus. J'allais surtout à ce restaurant pour déjeuner quand j'habitais à un coin de rue. Je voyais toujours la même serveuse, elle était vraiment gentille.

Me tooooo! My favorite kind! I know people shit on frozen fries and I agree that they're better when made fresh, BUT I'd be lying if I said I don't like the crispy frozen ones from Cavendish lol

Forgot a Crunchie candy bar in my car today. Found it tonight totally melted. Put it in the freezer for 2 hours. Best Crunchie i ever had.

I’m now thinking to do the experiment with other brands of candy bar. Any suggestions? (No Oh Henry, snickers or Mars).

Try Cadbury's chocolate. There is recently a whole debate/scandal about it not being real chocolate anymore because it doesn't melt lol
