I think Christmas is the best part of winter.Whenever I see the Christmas merchandise I feel like I need to leave the continent
I'm glad it's fun for you! I don't enjoy it but I'd like to spend it with friends this yearI think Christmas is the best part of winter.
Time to see the whole family, give presents, good food, play with grandchildren just a fun fabulous time there is nothing like being with your family and grandchildren especially at Christmas time.
you're not alone, I don't like Christmas at all anymore. Sure, as a kid it was a magical time. I have great memories of that time of year from my chidlhood. And I tried to recreate some of that magic for my kids, but at some point that magic disappeared for me.I'm glad it's fun for you! I don't enjoy it but I'd like to spend it with friends this year
I think for me family gatherings are a bit overwhelming, and Christmas over the years has become very stressful because of the pressure. I also have positive memories associated with people who aren't in my life anymore, so it's painful to think about it. A lot of my friends leave town during the holidays as well. I'm honestly hoping to get bookings during the holiday season to make up for it! Last year I had cocktails at the Ritz with a really cool gentleman and it was pretty much the highlight of my holidays.you're not alone, I don't like Christmas at all anymore. As I got older it just became a chore. Plus Christmas is basically a religious holliday wrapped up in intense commercialism, two things I am not fond of.
I don't mind it being an excuse to catch with family you would not otherwize choose to see lol, but even then it feels so contrived.
The best Christmas i had is when I escaped to Mexico for the season
It is children that make Christmas magical and I don’t mean grown up ones but little ones that still believe in the magic of Christmas.I think for me family gatherings are a bit overwhelming, and Christmas over the years has become very stressful because of the pressure.
