Not to sound obvious, but the Black Friday sale (basically one week long, now) is the best time to buy Christmas gifts. Discounts abound and you get it done before the rush!

I'm thinking about making a black friday or like early december booking special. I'm a little late to make it just black friday themed though lol.

Edited: If you are a Bell customer and looking to change your plan.

Just got off the online chat with Bell, the Black Friday phone plan is unlimited talk & text plus 130gb 5G data for $66.

Bell is the most horrible company on the planet. Once you sign with them your bill keeps going up every year and their answer is always the same we are doing things to improve our service to you. I am so happy I got rid of them and laugh every time they contact me to try and sell me something.

I beg to differ, I have used bell for over 25 years and found them good. Been looking for a bit now and there are cheaper plans but the data sucks and I travel in Canada a lot, need over 50gb min a month and up to 100 depending on where I am. If I was someone who stayed in the city and did not depend on obscure connections I may change but not possible now. Stuff like Koodo or Verizon have cheap plans but 500mb, that does nothing for me. My previous plan has not changed for 5 years until today.

I got rid of them when they outsourced their customer service jobs. It was the best decision I ever made. I will never give them a red cent again in my life.
Many other businesses do the same.

Many companies outsource their customer service, including:

American Express: Outsources customer service to call centers in countries with lower labor costs

AT&T: Outsources call centers

Verizon: Outsources call centers
Telstra: Outsources call centers
Comcast: Outsources call centers
Vodafone: Outsources call centers
SoftBank: Outsources call centers
Telefónica: Outsources call centers
O2: Outsources call centers

It becomes a deciding factor in my decision to use a service or not, when I cannot speak to a customer service rep in either English or French, it is a liability to the brand name Bell and the reason they were dropped by so many Canadians.

At one point, Bell Canada provided so many jobs to Canadians that almost every family had a member working there, and then they started outsourcing, all are gone now, their name brand recognition, the high level of service they once provided and those Canadian jobs.

Ok, back from the pub and can continue.
I edited my original post to say If you are already a customer and want to get a better deal. Never expect someone to change providers.
As for speaking to someone I never call and use the online chat, works very well and efficient, no long wait on a phone.
As for jobs Canada is proven to be expensive and not very productive, almost every day some union is on strike for more money and/or benefits. Can you blame a business for cutting costs with our high taxes and wages to do a job.
As for losing customers.
Yes, Bell Canada has been gaining customers, with 13.02 million wireless subscribers in 2023, up from 12.4 million in 2022. Bell Canada is a leading Canadian telecommunications and media company, offering a range of services including:
  • Wireless: Bell Canada offers mobile phones, mobile internet devices, and 5G in select areas
  • Internet: Bell Canada provides high-speed fiber home internet
  • TV: Bell Canada is a leader in digital TV
  • Home phone: Bell Canada offers home phone service
  • Business communications: Bell Canada offers communications solutions for businesses
Bell Canada's networks cover over 99% of the Canadian population. The company's mission is to keep Canadians connected and informed, and to enable businesses to compete globally.

Perhaps their phone plans are better. For me 10gb is much more than I need, family, friends here Europe and US all have iPhones I message and FaceTime is all I need and usually over Wifi.
With me it was internet and tv and it sucked big time only problem is Videotron is not much better.
Now I only have streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, Crave, Apple TV.

I have no TV provider either, stream Amazon prime and switch month by month between Netflix, Disney & Paramount. Only get Amazon yearly the rest are one month term and switch when bored with them.

I haven't had a photoshoot since september and I honestly kinda don't feel like booking one until the spring. The photographers I choose are always amazing but I really hate being a model lol I actually wish I had a camera and could be on the other side. Another creative hobby to add to my life.
I hate being a model too! hahaha. If you want to do a trade or something we could try and make it fun for each other! I have a camera :)

My goal when I ask you to put the envelope on the counter at the start of our date isn’t for me to take the envelope and run. My goal is from that point, to make you forget that you paid to be there.

If you get rid of the financial part right away then we can focus on other stuff and will feel less awkward.

It’s also less stressing for me, otherwise the whole time I’ll be wondering if I’m gonna get paid or if you’ll just run away. It will reflect in my demeanour
I relate to that. I'm also afraid I will forget, and I don't want to stress over it. I'd rather get paid first and offer my full focus.

C’est décembre, un mois que je n’aime pas trop, le froid est revenu et la neige se fait souvent attendre. Pour moi, l’hiver, c’est la neige, le ski, le patin, un peu de hockey pépère et faire un gros feu à l’extérieur.
This year I decided to leave winter and stay warm, did enjoy it in the past but didn't want to buy a new snow scraper.

I used to go for longer vacations in Winter when I was able to take the family. I hate winter and the cold.
Used to tell my parents why on earth they brought me to this god forsaken place that has 6 months winter, from Australia of all places.
Today I go for short breaks, don’t want to be away too long from family especially the grandchildren.
