Reporting offending posts

A question to the community:

How do you report offending posts or PM's to the moderators?

Do you use the little (hard to notice) triangle at the bottom left of every post and PM? Do you PM a mod?

Is appropriate action taken after you put a report in? Do the mods contact you to let you how they will (or will not) treat your request?

Among other things, I have been spammed twice via PM by an agency, and have used the reporting feature for this. I have no way of knowing if the offending agency has been warned or not.

Looking forward to reading the experiences of other members in this matter.

Easy. Just click on the name of the poster and click on ignore.

Or you can hit the little triangle first and report the post and then use the ignore function.

I get what you are saying, but: ignoring a posting may "ignore" the effect a poster is having on a thread, or the board at large. If a poster is having an agenda against a particular board member, agency or escort, does not mean all his posts should be ignored. The offending posts need to be removed. If I was to ignore said poster, I would not see the offending posts. I do not want the offending posts removed just for ME, I want them GONE.

I use the triangle mainly. They never contact back but take action most of time. When not, I assume they think no action is needed. I'm sure every notification is looked at. When using pm instead, they quite systematically send back a reply. I also reported an agency (advertiser) not too long ago. No reply but noticed the problem was solved a week later.

I use the little triangle ,and they do take action, I use it mostly when people write in the wrong section,a pet peeve for me, but also a few time when I felt the post were hateful and they were remove soon after...
