There is a difference about complaining about your job and complaining about the people you encounter in your job.
I didn’t always like visiting a certain country because of accommodations, food, hygiene but the people I encountered were great they were just unfortunate to live in such poverty and to be paid next to nothing.

Out of the hundreds of girls you have reviewed, maybe 1 has gained some traction. Most of that traction is you defending your review when something negative is said. Or you congratulating the person on having seen the girl and praising yourself in the process.

Your sole goal is to increase the pages and then take credit for her fake popularity

If anything; you discourage new members from writing their own honest review. And you mislead them into booking girls with your generic reviews
You have yet to write a bad review. Even the greatest of SP have a few of them.
You say you want to help the community and make it bigger yet everything screams fake with no scores under 8.5.

Wow, thank you so much for your comment, but now I must clarify and defend my position. it's truly inspiring how you managed to dismiss all my reviews as if they didn't matter at all, along with the effort and time I put into them. Honestly, to come here and claim that if it's not me writing reviews, then someone else is, is completely off the mark. Wake up, darling. Reviews are dying on this forum, and if you actually took the time to look, you'd see that most discussions are just inquiries about the menu rather than genuine reviews. They are maybe 100 to 150 active members contributing reviews on a regular basis and considering there are 140,000 registered members, your assumption that someone else is filling in for me is simply delusional. You have a funny way of seeing things. Most members here just read reviews to get information for their best interests and then have nothing to give back to the community. Instead, they spend their time stirring up drama in the lounge, distracting from those who genuinely contribute.But honestly, it's disappointing to see how much unnecessary drama has taken over the lounge section and people seem to have forgotten the real purpose of this forum.

That's a LOT of words to say you think you're the greatest gift to this forum. Let me reiterate : you really, really are not. Nobody is. We're all just people, man.

With all due respect, Julia, let’s each focus on our respective roles, yours as a service provider and mine as a client. How does that sound? I don’t see Merb as my entire life; I once cared deeply, but after witnessing the humiliation, toxicity and disrespect tolerated on this forum, it no longer matters whether I am part of this community or not. I have too much self respect to allow anyone to treat me disrespectfully. I believe in mutual respect and am committed to die for mine. It’s truly pathetic to gang up on someone just to humiliate or mock them. I’ve always shown respect to service providers, but if you choose to join those clowns who target members, be prepared to face the same treatment.

I don't know why you're saying I'm humiliating you when all I'm doing is reading the words you type and saying that you need to stop acting like you're the greatest gift this forum was blessed with. And pointing out the irony/contrast with some of the things you posted.

If you don't intend to come across this way, then maybe reevaluate the way you speak about your contribution to merb.

Depends on how many take his reviews seriously or think it is just some AI generated fluff.
I guess AI can be a tool for people that can’t be bothered writing their own stuff, are shy about writing or just think AI will do a better job.
Who knows perhaps in the future instead of a star system just input a couple of points and press a button and let AI do the rest.
Never thought I would have a robot doing my vacuuming either and now it makes perfect sense.

The purpose of this thread was to explore how we might better assess the issue of overly subjective reviews that end up cluttering SP review threads. Ideally, the goal was to find a system or approach that makes it easier to distinguish what’s actually relevant and helpful from what isn’t.

The example of Rebecca @Vog which was brought up in post #29 illustrated this well — with 78 messages in her review thread but only 11 actual reviews. That kind of imbalance can drown out useful information.

In the thread The Power of Reviews I find this post especially relevant in this context, as it highlights why it’s important to keep reviews meaningful and not let overly subjective commentary dilute the purpose of the thread.

The review needs to be about the SP and not the client.

I see a lot of reviews that try to emphasize on the sexual prowess, financial wealth or higher education of the writer. I guess we all do it to a certain extent including myself. But sometimes it's becoming just too much. I am here first and foremost to find out more about the SP, to see if she might be a good fit for me. I honestly don't care if you drove to your date in a Porsche with a custom jewelry made by T&C as a gift and then used your 10-inch Duracell jackhammer for 45 minutes straight. And while I can appreciate some fun facts, please do not citate and quote the latest Harvard medical publication.

I mostly only read reviews about women that I am already interested in. I enjoy those that are short and straight to the point. A rating with the criteria helps a lot in this sense. I look for red flags about the SP as well: Hygiene issues, cancellations, clock-watcher etc.
Then there are some reviewers that I always enjoy reading from. It doesn't matter if the SP is someone I would never see. The writing style just entertains me tremendously. A good example would be @General TAO Chef's Kiss

And 100 providers all having the same positive review, by the same reviewer. Without ever having a negative experience. Mixed into the fact that most are brand new girls.

When all descriptions are 8.5 or higher. There is no way of determining taste or type.
I am not saying to destroy the SP when you are not happy. But write some pros and cons of the experience.

When there is a pattern of many positive reviews of mostly new providers, what you are suggesting is reviews for discounts or freebies. This is not by any means a new development here on MERB. 20 years ago, after a slew of positive reviews of girls all of one agency, a senior poster was exposed of doing the same. He admitted the discounts and freebies but said that the deal was NOT for positive reviews but for reviews "as he saw it." In other words he claimed to pull no punches. However reading through his reviews carefully (I actually was reading them back then, as I wasn't semi retired), it was clear to me that he emphasized the positive aspects of the encounter and deemphasized the negative. In fact the only really negative reviews were for the small, Petite providers who couldn't handle the massive poundings he liked to give, or squawked because said poundings hurt their pussy.

I am not too crazy about the practice, if that's what you're suggesting. Although I met that well known senior poster at parties and I liked him. I considered him to be goofy and funny, unintentionally. He said and did things which amused me.

The down side of AI and condensed reviews like are being suggested here is they encourage the discount and freebie hunter, because they are less content and easier to write.

My comment was not fully serious. Personally unless the person is a scammer, stole from the client, refused service without a good reason, has fake photos or a horrible attitude, I don't think harsh reviews are necessary. They have the potential to lead to actual violence and danger, including clients pushing for unsafe services, as another user very clearly explained. But I agree that sometimes positive reviews can be suspicious as well, mostly for the reason @EagerBeaver mentioned, and not because the client who writes them is annoying you or only write positive comments.

Oh by the way. Maybe if you guys are complaining a lot about the way other clients write reviews or post on the forum, it's time to leave the board and find something else to do all this man bashing is getting intolerable

Just one small thing though: quite a few guys have mentioned they intentionally avoid

the SP he reviews. So while it sounds nice in theory, in practice… maybe not the magical boost it seems.

Still, love the optimism. We need dreamers too.

At least I take the time to write reviews and share my reviews with everyone. At the very least, agencies and service providers can confirm each of my experiences as detailed in my reviews. However, I’m quite certain that nothing can be said about you, since you don’t write any reviews and you're simply a character on this forum.

Sorry, I forgot to CLEARLY STATE that something hyperbolic I wrote is a joke.

Also saying "we'll avoid the providers he reviewed" just because these reviews don't seem genuine to you and because you don't like him is punishing these providers and hurting their business, it doesn't affect him.. it's just not cool in my opinion.
