Hurting Pootiepoot is not the aim.
The seizures put pressure on the oligarchs.
They are the ones Pootie fears most, and the only ones he would listen to.
You think seizing a couple of yachts and bank accounts is going to make a difference you must be dreaming .These guys and hundreds of others there have billions stashed all over the world.
Unfortunately the only thing that will deter Putin is military power from Nato and the US or the Russian people rising up against him.
Bidet is a weak spineless leader Putin will never take him seriously and no one stands out in Europe also to unite NATO as a serous threat either

Firstly, are you advocating that the US and/or NATO do more than provide arms, seize assets and enforce sanctions? In other words, do you think that they should engage the Russians in the Ukraine?

Secondly, as weak as you perceive Biden to be, at least he does not behave obsequiously to Putin, abandon allies (Kurds) and military bases (Syria) as did his predecessor.

Unfortunately all of this is true. Everyone has to remember that Russia is not a democracy. These measures might work if he was a democratically elected leader but he is an authoritarian dictator. He will only be deterred by military action. Biden is just a puppet to be played:

Putin gambled and is about to lose. As almost all gamblers he will continue to rise the stakes in fear of loosing everything including his life. We all know how it might end: nukes. The hope is on Russians to remove the bastard themselves. There is no way oligarchs can do it. It needs to be intelligence or army.

Get real for a change Bidet is seizing yachts while Putin is invading and seizing Ukraine.
No one wants a military confrontation but you already have it, They are not taking Ukraine with hockey sticks.

There is one and only one non-military solution and Sharkman has already mentioned it: shutting down the oil and gas energy exports. The problem with trying to implement that approach is that the EU will not play ball. They are too oil and gas dependent. The EU leaders will not risk short term hardships and no-reelection in order to stage a boycott. But a boycott on Russian gas and oil exports is what should happen.

Russian mercenaries rarely give interviews.
The secretive Wagner Group, an elite private army carrying out Vladimir Putin’s dirty work abroad, have murdered their way through missions in Syria, Libya, Mali and elsewhere before apparently sent into Ukraine.
These brutal special-forces veterans are now reported to have a “kill list” of assassination targets including Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky, and the Kyiv mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
