Russian cruiser Moskva, flagship of the Black Sea fleet, taken out of action overnight. This is a big deal because it was a powerful asset of the Russian navy - it did a lot of coastal shelling plus it had a huge battery of anti-air missiles. Irreplaceable as Turkey has closed the Bosphorous strait to military vessels.

Edit: 12 hours later ===> Good news: fire on the Moskva is extinguished. Bad news: the Moskva is now underwater. Russian news agency confirmed the Moscow has sank. :p Kindly donated to Ukraine as their NEW dive attraction!!!! The Moskva is the largest warship ever sunk since WW2.

Several European leaders have gone to visit Kyiv in person, to meet with President Zelensky.

I commend these leaders to have the balls to come to a warzone but my only question is, where's Justin Trudeau in all this?

Since 2014, we sent Ukraine nearly $1B in support:

Zelensky is VERY grateful for Canada's support:

Canada has always been, is and, I am sure, will be a reliable partner in Ukraine. Partner of our land, our people of Ukraine, each of our families.

You came to our aid as soon as we asked for it. You are giving us the weapons and other support we so desperately need now. You have imposed sanctions against Russia - truly moral. Really substantial.

I thank you for your support. I am thankful to everyone present in this hall of parliament. To every citizen of Canada. I'm grateful to you, Justin. Grateful on behalf of the entire Ukrainian nation.

Yes Wetnose, it's a good thing.

Russia’s biggest warship has exploded off the coast of Ukraine after the cruiser was hit by missiles.

The Russian dude wasn't lying, he was just leaving out the part about what started the fire and blew up the ammunition, that being the Ukrainian missile that hit it.

Not surprisingly, Putin is threatening Suede and Finland of devastating consequences if they join NATO.

The Ukrainian special forces announced it will not spare Russian troops in response to the brutal shelling of civilians.

The targeting of civilians is no accident, it is a calculated policy. Intercepted communications have revealed conversations involving both Russian officers and enlisted men discussing the targeting of civilians and civilian facilities.
Therefore, Ukraine's position on this matter is perfectly reasonable.

Ukrainian forces say they repelled Russian armor attempting to break through to the village of Krasnohorivka, in Ukraine's eastern Donbas region.
A Ukrainian soldier told RFE/RL on April 13 how his unit stopped the advance of seven Russian tanks.

Good work Ukrainian soldiers. May you be safe until you can reap the rewards of peacea long, hot shower/bath, a good meal, a good sleep and reuniting with loved ones.

Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev has warned that Russia would deploy nuclear weapons in a new location if a red line is crossed.

Russian nuclear capability is already a threat to Finland.

“There is mud in the fields, everywhere. It's making it very difficult for the Russians to advance from the north down to the pocket to do what they were going to do five days ago.”

It's confirmed:
The Russian guided-missile cruiser Moskva rests deep beneath the Black Sea this morning. Ukraine claims that it hit Moskva with missiles, causing it to sink. Russia has insisted the reason for the sinking was a fire.

Putin always tells the truth o_O
