Selling arms and minitions to Ukraine makes money. When the economy is bad, we need to revive the economy by manufacturing bombs and missiles, it will creates jobs if not there will be lots of people unemployed ! Since last year we talk about recession, but haven't seen it, now you have the answer here. They dont say this on radio and TV.

This is a bogus argument. Russia was bordering NATO countries even before the war (Baltic states). Now when Finland is in NATO, the NATO border is less than 100 miles from St Petersburg and Russia seams to be OK with it. If you read Putin’s and his friend Medvedev’s speeches and publication before the war, they clearly state that Ukraine is an artificial country that does not have rights to exist in 1991 borders. This is a pure land grab and naked aggression against the country that Putin thought would be easy to defeat with his “mighty” Russian army.

So are you suggesting that climate activists should think that Ukraine should surrender because fighting back against Putin's war of aggression is bad for the environment? If so you are being ridiculous.

Nobody dare to blame climat change on those tanks, canons, jet fighters, bombs, missiles, etc.. instead of pointing fingers on my car and saying it polutes the environment.
They want me to surrender my car, but not the tanks, cand continues to send them to war.

I am for this particular war to defeat Putin. This is probably the first war after the WW2 that is clearly morally justified for the West.

If Russians don't want war to continue, they can simply leave Ukraine. Ukrainians on the other hand do not have such option as Russia occupies large part of Ukraine and generally threatens her very existence. The neutrality or isolationist policy in this war is not only morally wrong but is also wrong on practical terms. If Ukraine is defeated, there is a very large probability that NATO will find itself in direct fighting with Russia in cahoots with China very soon after.

Our gas-burning cars do pollute the environment. We can choose to reduce that pollution. Ukraine is defending itself against invasion and the end of their country and their freedom. Ukraine has no choice but to fight back despite its impact on the environment. Do I really need to explain this to you?

The war in Ukraine did not start because Ukraine joined, or was about to join, NATO. It started because of Putin's imperialism and lust for power. In fact, if Ukraine were a NATO member Putin would not have invaded. We are all sick of war, but it cannot be ignored.
