I have news of another separatist conspiracy...as I was posting in this thread last night, my monitor suddenly lost it's vertical hold and just started rolling non-stop! They finally found a way to shut me up. I'm sure it had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that it was an 8 year old display.
So I drove to the office bright and early this am to pick up a new display and now I am the proud owner of a 19" LCD to replace my 21" CRT.
I am going to cover this one with tin foil to prevent any further dastardly attacks.
PS: Damn, Esco! Don't you ever sleep? I'm glad that I brought a smile to your face. Take care.

Don't worry about it chef! No apologies are ever necessary from my nemesis. It's great being in the computer business as I can just pop over to the office to get parts when something breaks.
By the way...I have access to a laptop from the office whenever I need it now. If you give me a day or so notice we can meet at Cleo's sometime and get that cd burnt if they still have it.

That statement is not true. The use of "allowed" is in itself revealing.
The British deported & repressed French settlers numerous times. The Acadians were deported en masse. The Metis in Manitoba were attacked by the military and their leaders hung on trumped up charges.
The Americans did the same. The KKK and its government backers viciously beat the French in Louisiana. French in Dixie is now a tourist curiosity and the brunt of Thibodeau jokes.
American presidents would routinely tell Canadian prime ministers how to assimialte the French.
