Since I’ve stopped complaining on Twitter, I find that I attract better clients. They are happier, nicer and often more generous.

After reading a few posts on review boards about how unattractive it was to you, I’ve decided to keep my online presence professional and positive.

I do spend a lot of time on review boards, some posts make me roll my eyes so much I almost see the back of my own head. Some posts are very helpful and have made me understand how I could give the best experience to the people visiting me.

All that to say or should I say to ask, are you completely turned off by a SP who complains a lot on Twitter? Would you still give her a chance?

Yes I am completely turned off by SP that do nothing else except client bashing on Twitter, it becomes so obvious that they hate what they are doing and the men they see. No, why would I want to give them a chance and waste my time with them when there are many gorgeous women who are not like that.

Same goes for the ones that do nothing else except post what a client bought off their wish list and constantly beg for money for everything under the sun. When they ask to help out someone else in need that is understandable and a really nice gesture on their part. The ladies I know if they need help they don’t need to ask I will offer without them asking.

I think more ladies should be smart like you and realize that you are not the only one doing “ screening” your Twitter comments and posts are being screened also. Some of us are not as dumb as people might think and we don’t always think with our little brain.

However a sp should denounce clients who bully her or harass her by showing screenshots of text exchange, i have no problems with that.

Even that, most of the time I just scroll past those posts.

Unless the person is dangerous, I don’t feel like the screenshots should be posted on Twitter. In all honesty, even if the client is dangerous you shouldn’t post the screenshots because they will most likely just change their phone number and resume their dangerous activities.

I am totally turned off/annoyed by anyone who is always complaining. It is not attractive, sw or not. Who wants to be in the company of someone who is constantly whining about whatever? It only brings negativity into the exchange or relationship.

I know, life is rarely easy but, imo, the best approach to take towards difficulties is to find a way to bring the responsibility to ourselves(that’s the tough part), in order to be able to take positive actions to solve the problems and make ourselves feel good. If one always keeps blaming others for what is happening in their life, the end result is more likely to feel totally helpless, bringing frustration and bitterness.

What is this "Twitter" of which you speak?!
As much as I don't like complaining in the internet, I *really* don't like the tendency these days to piously scold and police others. I'm not a fan of all the moralizing and virtue signaling, which comes from all sides. That said, I understand that it can be pretty hard to ignore the idiocy, even when it's just trolling.

@Fradi, I totally agree with your response. Bang on!

I would just to add:
Client bashing: I get that some clients are not easy and SPs have a difficult job. But IMO, bashing on twitter won’t accomplish much! Maybe SPs should discuss the situation in private with other colleagues, ban the client, etc.

Gifts: I’m all for clients buying gifts to an SP, to show that they appreciate their service and enjoy their company. Doesn’t matter the size of the gift, it’s the thought that counts!

BUT I don’t agree with popular SPs “begging” for expensive gifts, when they already make decent $. I sometimes bring a gift to my regulars, and they appreciate it so much (though they never ask for it)! But I probably wouldn’t see a lady “expecting” expensive gifts (based on their twitter feed), much less buy them an expensive gift!

Thats a major turn off for me, as well as the almost inevitable pics of their latest night out at the fanciest restaurant(not necessarily the best). It has reached a point where, I see it as a ridiculously cheesy way to pressure clients to socially date them, in a competive way. Of course, this is just my very personal opinion.

My last 3 gifts to my ATF were one rose, one book and one "Lindt chocolat noir orange intense tablette" (on different occasions)... hardly expensive gifts but totally appropriate because I know she loves flowers, reading and dark chocolate.

Just the fact that she knows I thought about her, and maybe even went out of my way to get this for her, she's always all smiles and appreciative.

Happiness is in the simple things :)

I like giving gifts probably as much as they like receiving them, however gift giving is up to the giver not an SP advertising on Twitter that I want this handbag or those high heels or a vacation and of course first class airplane tickets, and who is going to be next to provide it for me
This is a total turn off and yet there are so many doing exactly this, I often wonder who are the idiots that actually buy these gifts for them without even meeting them.

I won't even see her.

I found an SP's twitter who I actually had a really good session with. She was chill and friendly. But then I found her Twitter with CONSTANT bitching and talking about money

Completely turned me off. I'm told that I am a very good client. And I had a good session with her and I would repeat.

But due to Twitter.... nothing related to the actual session, her service, or her looks, I am not going to see her anymore. That's a really dumb way to lose clients.

I don’t mind the humorous complaints when they post actually text messages of the stupid questions some clients ask especially when they answer back with great lines. There are ways to complain that are totally fun and entertaining and still manage to make a point.
These are fun to read and really make you understand how difficult their job really is.

People will tolerate complaining if they want something from you (someone to listen to your complaints, to increase the probability of getting laid, or, in the case of SPs to show/feign sympathy in the hope of more enthusiasm), but, call me cynical, absolutely nobody enjoys listening to complaints (not even if they are madly in love with you!).

In the last years of my marriage, when I first hired escorts, one of the reasons was to have sex with relaxed ears (not hearing about the bad weather, slow traffic etc.).

Not sarcastic, I really would like to learn more.

This is most likely not directed to clients but rather to other escorts.

Many clients aren’t on Twitter but many escorts are. If you look at the followers list, most of them are other sex workers so really they’re trying to impress them and not clients .

I have said the same thing about designer brands etc. most men don’t know the difference between a Aldo shoe and a Louboutin

Doesn't matter what the intention was, the effect is that we clients will see this and think that. @Cap'tain Fantastic 's post is accurate and many merbites are agreeing. When I personally see their posts like that, I just think "oh, that's what she wants from us, and if we don't give that to her, we won't get as good of service".

It doesn't matter what your intentions are, this is basic marketing. If you are going to put your escort name online and publicly post things, it is marketing and advertising and everything you post will have an effect on your clients. It's crazy to me how SPs who are savvy with client relationships and business don't understand this.

That being said, I think most SPs are in fact directing this message at their clients, and not "other sex workers"

Not very healthy to seek attention to such extremes and crave for jealousy and approval :(

Social media has created a generation of egocentric, narcissistic monsters

Just not my type...

Maybe “begging” is wrong word! It’s when they put their wishtender list (or whatever it’s called), with gifts in the 1000s of $ (list of gifts they wish to have). Then they’ll say that it’s their birthday, or Xmas, or Valentines and she would love to receive some of those gifts (Ughh!). Or a picture of a nice gift that they received from Mr. X.

Is the message, “look I received this nice gift”, so if you don’t buy me one as well, you’re a loser. Sorry, maybe I am being paranoid!

By the way, who are these guys that buy gifts in the 1000s of dollars for an SP they probably met once.

I can understand if the guy is wealthy and buys an expensive gift to a regular/ATF (hopefully not one asking for it on twitter, lol), but it’s between them. But asking/showing off on twitter is a major turnoff!
