This is the season in Canada.
Any idea on SP and their tax returns (if any). How do they describe the source of their income; what kind of deductions are they entitled to.
Any SP willing to contribute and any accountant ready to venture advices?

PM me to explain further.

I was thinking about the high class ones.
Fully agree with you for the others, majority of places have room for improvements! To say the least!!

I agree that cash is cash. But at one point, do you keep it in your socks and stay in a subsidized housing!
If you live in a condo at Nuns Island or at the Sanctuaire or on Peel and drive a Merc. or a Z4 or a H2 and declare no revenue or that you are on welfare, any difference about cash being cash??
What kind of revenue can a high end escort be generating?

I can only speak for myself. I declare an income. I am self employed as a personal care consultant.

As this is a cash business I declare $29,000 per year. At over $30,000 per year I would have to get tax numbers and charge GST and PST.

So, if my reading is accurate, only Ronnie is filing tax returns in this world; quite interresting.
Maybe Ronnie should reconsider, although she is building up her old age return (rentes du Québec).

Yes and I am also trying to repair my credit rating as it was badly destroyed during my separation. Also this way I will one day re-earn the right to borrow money and get back into debt. Hopefully on a mortgage.

Sophia,

There are many opinions on the benefits of a corporation, but considering the additional cost versus being self employed and taking deductions at your own level, the marging might be thin. Unless your income is well over 100,000$ and you get all your bookeeping from a trusted client or friend who is an accountant (I would go for a friend), the value of incorporating may not be that great.
Mind you, you may qualify for some kinf of a tax holliday (5 years) (an accountant could further advise)
Have a nice time

Sophia,

Please to hear it works great for you.

Hope your tax planner is an accountant (CA) and not a notary trying to become a man!!!!
I don't like them!!! Nothing I can do about it!!!!

Have a nice time
