It's already well-known that NY State has been investigating the Trump Foundation and now they're also investigating Eric Trump's foundation after Forbes magazine posted an article claiming the foundation was diverting funds that were to be used for children with cancer & transferring these funds to the Trump Organization. New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is looking into allegations of self-dealing by the Eric Trump Foundation that were raised by a recent Forbes report.
Schneiderman was already investigating the Donald J. Trump Foundation for whether or not the president personally benefited from the fundraising efforts and spending of the foundation before the inauguration.
"I can confirm that our office is looking into issues at the Eric Trump Foundation raised by the Forbes report," said Eric Soufer, the attorney general's director of communications.
Forbes reported this week that it appears the Eric Trump Foundation shifted some money from a benefit for children with cancer at St. Jude's Hospital into the Trump Organization, a move that could run afoul of prohibitions against self-dealing on the part of charities.
Amanda Miller, a spokeswoman for the Eric Trump Foundation, said the group plans to cooperate with Schneiderman's review.
“During the past decade, the Eric Trump Foundation has raised over $16.3 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, including more than $3.6 million to St. Jude and other worthwhile causes just in 2016 alone," Miller said in a statement. "The Foundation intends to cooperate fully with the Attorney General's review, and looks forward to a productive and open dialogue with the Attorney General's Office to address any questions it may have."
In a previous statement to ABC News about the Forbes report, the Eric Trump Foundation pushed back against the allegations.
"Contrary to recent reports, at no time did the Trump Organization profit in any way from the foundation or any of its activities. While people can disagree on political issues, to infer malicious intent on a charity that has changed so many lives, is not only shameful but is truly disgusting. At the end of the day the only people who lose are the children of St. Jude and other incredibly worthy causes," the foundation said.

At the end of the day, Trump, aided by his family, is the president of USA and Clinton is not. So the prime concern should be directed to the guy representing the country, Trump. So all this "Trump did this... "yes but Clinton did that..." is childish and not relevant.
Just my opinion but is it not nice to know what the other side of the coin looks like? It would be like getting a sandwich that tastes like shit and you complain about it and it is replaced by a sandwich that tastes like a sewer. With due respect the election was year. This is not about the 'losing team' not being able to handle it. This administration is a fucking train-wreck. I get Clinton was a bad choice, but honestly you cannot compare the two. If we are talking sandwich analogy, then a Trump Sandwich has animal feces and gives you e coli, while the Clinton sandwich has salmonella and gives you food poisoning for a few days. I think there is something there to investigate with regards to Russia, but its not why she lost. There is so many backward steps being taken on people's right, climate change and healthcare that no one even cares if the sandwich judge declared the Trump special a winner last year.
Have to disagree with your comment about backward steps on climate change if you are referring to Trump pulling out of the Paris accord. No amount of taxes will change what the climate is doing, China was going to continue to spew out pollution and even increase until 2030 and still no guarantee of a reduction, Turkey even stated that they may pull out because of no money coming to them because of the US pulling out.
Just my opinion but these climate extremists give these scare tactics with close timelines because in 7 or less years people will see that nothing is changing except their cost of living.
