Spicer is benched this week...Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the substitute and am pretty sure that THE BOSS likes her a lot....so don't b surprise if Spicer learns directly on TV that HE IS FIRED.....during a briefing press.......that's the way King Trump likes to proceed........lollll

I agree. Spicey's supposedly doing his naval reserve duties for the rest of the week. But it was learned yesterday that he could have postponed it to a later date. Of course, and maybe he can't be blamed for this, he didn't want to face the fire following King Trump's firing of the FBI director investigating him in a criminal investigation.

I'll miss Spicey if he's canned. His press briefings are must-see tv and i rarely miss one. The other night after learning of Comey's firing, he tried to hid outside behind a bush in order to avoid the press. When he came out, he ordered them to shut off their lights and agreed to speak with them if they promised not to film it. You simply cannot make this up!

Save Spicey!!!!!!!! :thumb:

True but let's face it: the majority of Trump voters aren't exactly very smart & educated people. They'll believe anything they're being told. Just take yesterday's vote in regards to Trumpcare. The majority of Trump voters will get fucked by that vote if it ever passes through the Senate, which it won't. Many smart Republicans were shocked at the celebration going on afterwards since the vote didn't really mean anything and the chances of that bill ever making it through the Senate are zero.

Some truth there but there are plenty of very smart people who voted for him too, they just feel more anti-Dem/anti-Hillary/anti-govt than anything else (even if the govt is helping them too). There are plenty of Americans who cannot stand the thought of free handouts to undeserving fellow citizens. The Republicans succeed when they spin a tail of drug addicts, illegal immigrants, and welfare queens sucking off the teet of the hard-working blue collar taxpayer. Those stories hit far harder than the statistics/reality that Dems try to retort with.

Personally I think Spicer is pretty damn smart- no idiot can come up with his lines that quickly to cover completely illogical statements from his boss!

I agree that there are many so-called 'smart' people who voted for Trump, especially after all the Russian & extreme-right propaganda spread out against Hillary Clinton. There were hundreds of fake news websites out there spreading bullshit about Clinton and the Russian cyber apparatus had as many as 300 various cyberexperts working on this full time. Kudos to Putin and the Russians: it worked. And although its easy for me and others to accuse people of being naive (stupid) and would believe anything they hear or are told, people often will allow themselves to be manipulated in order to believe what they want to believe. Hate Clinton and the Dems? It's quite easy to believe all the fake news and b.s. read and heard about them. That's human nature and upon further reflection somewhat unfair to hold this against them since the same could be said if the shoe were on the other foot.

I agree, but every day Spicy is hurting his credibility by defending Trump's many lies, especially when he himself knows they are lies. He has a very tough job, but no one's forcing him to keep it. He can walk away any time and will not have any problem finding a job.

Speaking of Spicy, i pray every day that he stays in that job. It's definitely not the same with Rosie O'Donnell lookalike Sarah Huckabee-Sanders doing the press conferences. She did have a difficult time today in the conference, having to cover Trump's and her own lies, which was good news for Spicy and his fans.

I saw pictures of that...it must have been some kind of stage managed drama.

All the press go in and out that one gate. And they cannot waltz in anytime, nor can they loiter on the lawn, especially in the middle of the night.

Someone called them there. Someone decided to have the lights down low. Maybe Spicer was trying to give them an illusion that it was on the sly.

Well vivement SEAN......the ambiance with Sarah in the briefing press is not the same....heavy....Sarah takes her job too seriously...too too serious,,,,not funny....and she is agressive, provocative, arrogante, irritante with no good interaction at all....heavy....the result...we don't believe her.

I miss SEAN....so so cute......funny, polite, smiling, very interactive, joking,relax.......the result.....we ALMOST believe him......loll. My problem is am quite sure the BOSS prefers Sarah's style.....she is like HIM.

While Comey was not nearly as powerful as the untouchable J. Edgar Hoover, he was liked and respected by a majority of his staff.
Picking a fight with the independence of the FBI is a no win situation for Donald.
Trump may be as smart as a rat....but most rats live in sewers.

I was surprised how strongly the FBI community supported Comey.

Disgusted by the ridiculous lying by Trump's pr skank. Claiming many many agents called her? Fuck off you lying piece of shit.

News Alert! News Alert! News Alert!

Spicy's back!!!!!!!!!

Sean Spicer decided to cancel today's reserve duty in the Navy (which i believe was total b.s. in the first place) in order to do today's press conference. There's word that he's doing it to show he's not being replaced, which could be true. But i believe it's also because he's afraid to lose his job.

Look behind you.
Just throwing this out there, not sure if most of you on this thread are Canadians or Americans. If you are Canadian do you not realize we have our own special need child ruining Canada? All your complaints about Trump and his cabinet and we have a full blown circus here in Canada, our cabinet based on gender and race instead of who is best for the job, all the lies from the Liberals.
And you are worried about Trump?
Continue with your day, enjoy.

You may not like Trudeau but I'm sure the dysfunction of Canadian government is nowhere near the current dysfunction in US government. If you think Trudeau is that bad, then why don't the US and Canada do an Executive Swap? It'll be like Wife Swap except only one of the wives is fuckable. (Hint: it's not the guy hung like a hamster).

What a mess!!! Now Trump was caught (and admitted this morning) that he leaked highly classified information to the Russians during their meeting last friday. Many experts have stated this compromise of classified info (which dealt with Isis) will lead to a lot of people getting murdered over this. We've since learned that Israel was the country which had given US intelligence this information and had told them not to share it with everyone else.

We've also learned that FoxNews anchor Kim Guilfoyle (she's a babe, by the way) has told people close to her that she has been asked by the Trump WH to replace Sean Spicer as press secretary, which likely explains Spicer's mood these past few days. People close to Spicer have said he's been very subdued and looks depressed.

Many WH insiders have leaked that most of Trump's closest advisors have been very demoralized lately over how they've been treated by Trump. He constantly throws them under the buss, screams at them and tells them they're not doing their job correctly. We've also learned that his 'team' is desperate for him to get rid of many senior WH staff. Trump is also considering getting rid of many members of this same 'team' such as Reince Priebus, Steve Bannon and Sean Spicer, among others.

As is his custom, the week will usually end with a headlines maker, so it wouldn't surprise me if he cleans house within the next few days. But the problem is that he's having a hard time finding qualified replacements for the people he'd like to get rid of since let's face it: nobody who's worth it wants to work for him.

I'll miss Spicey's briefings. And although Guilfoyle is a hottie, it's another case of Trump giving someone a job which they're unqualified for, which explains all the chaos going on around the White House over the past 100+ days. What a fucking mess!!!!

Now this is just my opinion buy I think that the working class Americans will be better off than the working class Canadians in two years. With the carbon tax plus Justine's plans to tax us higher and take away benefits bring in thousands of more refugees, go on massive trips with his entire group, give other countries billions to fight climate change, things are not going to be good here in two years. The Americans will have more employment, they will have lower taxes, they will have a huge business advantage over Canada.
As for Spicer, I would hate to have his job.

What to expect. The guy bankrupt half the company he had. Zillion lawsuit. Did not pay his supplier, broke many laws... He is bringing his "savoir faire" to the white house ;)

I'll miss Spicey's briefings.
Me too. He is funnier then the whole SNL crew combined!

What a fucking mess!!!!
It will finish in a big mess. His ego and temper will not be tolerated long at the white house..

The latest and most damning news is that Comey kept detailed notes of their meetings and claims that Trump tried to interfere with his job.
Someone should have warned Trump not to pick a fight with a guy who was not only taller than him....but also way smarter.
Comey, who Trump ironically called a showboat, has been quiet since his firing......but wait till he starts testifying in front of the Senate.

If Comey survives to testify.

Maybe that was what the closed door meeting with the Russians was about? How do we get Polonium-210 into Comey?

You don't fuck around with the FBI and other intelligence agencies. They'll ALWAYS end up winning as many former foes can attest. Trump declared war against all the US intelligence agencies ever since he announced he was running for president. He's been a bully all his entire life, but he may have finally met his match and that 'foe' of his will end up winning, as it always does.

The FBI has a history of operating somewhat autonomously going back to the inimitable J. Edgar Hoover. Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon once was quoted as saying he didn't fire Hoover because he was afraid of reprisals by Hoover.

Hoover presided over the FBI's halcyon days during which it practically invented much of the modern police technology used in fingerprinting and forensics. They were a world leader in this regard, and all police forces owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to them. I had a legal case many years ago in which I used a voice analysis expert who worked for the FBI (the FBI referred me to him) and he was unbelievable. I mean like best in the world kind of deal with that dude.

There was a dark side of Hoover's tenure which was the so called "dark files" of the FBI which under Hoover operated as a secret and autonomous police force, spying on and blackmailing political dissidents like John Lennon.

Comey, although certainly much less political than Hoover, was certainly his own man and not beholden to anyone. His legal decisions were likely all correct but the information he gave on his decisions probably could have been handled better.

The biggest danger in firing him I think is to create a perception that the next person is Trump's puppet and I don't think it's a good idea to have puppet heads of the FBI or CIA. These agencies need to be run by competent and experienced professionals in the law enforcement and intelligence communities, capable of making sound judgments not based on politics.
