C'est un gars qui s'amuse à brasser de la marde sur les threads et même si je suis super d'accord avec ce que tu as écrit, ça servira à rien (j'ai réalisé ça après avoir écrit mon dernier post addresé à lui). Le gars, au lieu de se faire plaisir avec des SPs, il se fait plaisir à se toucher en lisant comment il a fait chier d'autre monde. I want to add a little constructive criticism to this thread and I hope I'm not out of line. I certainly don't want to offend anyone here but sometimes it's really hard to read some posts by some members that are mainly francophones. When you post in English (and i thank you for the effort) why wouldn't you use an online translator before posting in English? For one, it's hard on the eyes to read, and secondly maybe if you'd use an online translator (even though they aren't great) you'd probably learn how to spell some words you've been writing with errors. And lastly, why don't you write in french ? This is MONTREAL escort Review Board so most should be able to understand you in french and for those that don't, maybe they can use an online translator

This is in no way a bashing thread and I don't wish to harm anyone in writing this.

SC - I understand that this is an English board so I believe we are supposed to post in English. Also, I cut the French speaking natives a break. I give them credit for trying. I am at the moment trying to learn Portuguese. Let me tell you, picking up a new language this late in life is hard. I have recently discovered Google translator. It is so much better than yahoo bablefish. Also, I would be willing to proof read posts by PM or email for any of the Quebec natives or for anyone that speaks English as a second language and thought they needed a little help. I sure wish I could find someone to help me with my Porto.

I agree totally, especially when it will make the difference between someone deciding not to post at all, rather than having to go through the extra effort required to write the post in a language which is not their first language. I would add that most online translators are not very good, but there is one notable exception - Google Translate (http://translate.google.com/), which is very good. As you can see, Google`s unmodified translation is quite readable. In fact, one merely has to change a few words in the translation to transform the text into perfect English. I should mention also that the more grammatically correct the text is written in the original language, the better Google`s translation will be.

I'm not in total agreement here.
While I do agree that some "French natives" have a hard time writing in English, their effort to do so is commendable, even if it is hard to read. Using Google's translator would help the reader but what about the poster ? How would this person learn from mistakes they're making while translating ? I'm pretty sure one particular poster on this thread was the intended target of spacecadet's post and basically what this poster lacks is grammar. The poster uses many homonyms and also does something many French Quebecers do, they use the "h" where it's not needed and don't pronounce it where it exists. Example : " 'ello hall" instead of "Hello all".
I play a lot of Dungeons and Dragons and one of my friends is unable to say "Handaxe". He constantly says "Andhaxe". It's not dyslexia because I don't think dyslexia is language specific, and he isn't dyslexic in French...

I really liked how Google's translator changed my sentence "Le gars, au lieu de se faire plaisir avec des SPs, il se fait plaisir à se toucher en lisant comment il a fait chier d'autre monde." into "The guy, instead of being pleased with SPs, it is a pleasure to touch by reading how he pissed off to another world.". The correct translation would be "This guy, instead of getting pleasure from SPs, gets it from touching himself while reading how he pissed off other people.".

Nope! This not an English board; this is a Montreal board. Personally, I think that all threads, with the exception of review threads, should maintain the language of the starting post, but that's just my opinion. Review threads, imho, are specific to the girl and are bi-lingual.

If I start a thread and someone replies to me in French, I simply don't (read: can't) reply. As for online translators, they suck. (Ils sucent.)

Actually, your idea makes a lot more sense. I'd be much more interested in your repeat list, than your to do list. That list is based on real experience.
