.....and will play PAOLINI in semis....wow....who would have predicted ???? the happiest player is IGA for whom the door is wide open.
Will be very different result when she plays IGA on grass and hard courts. This is an event IGA should own for some years.SWIATEK won...BUT good news for Coco she will be number 2....and remember she is only 20y.old....on l'oublie.
Well, one of the things Zverev has in his favor is that he did not have to work as hard to beat Ruud as Alcaraz did to beat Sinner. With other players I would be more concerned about a debilitating 5 set match, but I believe Alcaraz will win a difficult match against Zverev. You called it, EB!
Alcaraz vs Zverev final.
I do believe Zverev is on a mission, and even though he took a few beatings from Carlos in the past, he has also beaten him in GS matches.
And pressure will be on Carlos. Sasha should be free wheeling on Sunday, but he's known to get tight at crunch time.
As I have mentioned repeatedly, due to IGA's mastery of topspin, she will OWN this event for many years to come, like Nadal once did, and like fellow topspin master Borg once did. Will not be so easy for her against the power players on other surfaces.Hum....not funny to watch...IGA 6,2--6-1/68min....à 23 ans déjà her 4th title/FRANCE.....et son 5ème Major Title.....elle est au sommet et dans une classe à part....quant à PAOLINI elle a vécu le plus beau moment de sa vie...MAIS son défi//her big big challenge
will b to stay in the top 10.....pas évident.
and we are going in a 5th...easy easy 4th set for CARLOS...6-1....he is on the good path....
